We booked this places sister hotel the jasmine lodge and we got taken here by their tuk tuk driver. I knew at first sight that this was not the place we had books through booking.com, when I raised it with reception on check in I was told yes, yes it is the place and I was laughed at. When I... We had such a great stay with you for 12 weeks October until December as we volunteered in Siem Reap. We very much liked all the amenities in the hostel such as daily cleaning and the pool to cool off after work. The food is great and saves some dollars than going out to eat. Very much felt like at... More

I confirmed my booking twice with this hostel, and upon arriving, they said they didn't have my booking for a single room. The owner Kunn, ended up giving me a room with three single beds in it- two of which were dirty and I'm convinced that I was sleeping in a dirty bed. The next morning, they moved me to... More

My partner and I decided to stay here after having read about it's 'pro-poor' employment practices and apparently sound social focus. We were initially disappointed when the owner/manager, as reported by others, was rude and conveniently ignored our attempts by phone and email to cancel our booking for one of the nights due to staying with a friend for Christmas.... I have stayed here two years in a row and have always had a good experience. It's a great value and I've always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and I've never felt like I was in danger of losing any of my possession

Nice hostel with a lovely staff always trying to help! Really cheap... The rooms are really nice and clean. The restaurant and breakfast are really good with a range variety of products such as local or western snacks like pizza or burguers. The pool is great for the hot season in Cambodia, worth a dive in the early morning or... More

I had read some negative reviews after booking so was a bit worried before arriving. I shouldn't have been. This is a great value hostel in a quiet and convenient location for airport, temples and the centre of Siem Reap (10 mins walk). The rooms are basic but clean and with comfy beds. We had one right next to the... More

Spent three nights at Jasmine Family Hostel while backpacking around SE Asia. The staff were wonderfully helpful, booking a boat transfer to Pnohm Penh for us and answering any of our questions. The food was also great and you get inclusive breakfast! They have their own tuk tuk drivers which means you avoid being hassled and can browse the temples... More
