Our stay at the Bayon Garden Guesthouse had a terrible start, followed by many ups and downs. As we arrived we had to witness a verbal fight between the owner and our Tuctuc-driver. Even though the driver was part of a scam that started right at the border, there's no need for getting rude towards people. Then the photos on... More

Frank and Tanya are wonderful hosts. They make your stay in Siem Reap easy and delightful. They can help you organize your visit to the temples in the manner you desire. The rooms are spotless and all of this with a wonderful breakfast included. The location is perfect as it is situated just off the center of town, where the... More

Please do not consider staying anywhere else in Siem Reap. Not only is this the nicest guesthouse that we had the pleasure of staying in as we travelled around China, Cambodia and Vietnam, it is also surely the best value. Frank was the most generous host you could imagine. As well as being extremely helpful before our arrival in terms... More

Thank you Tanya and Frank for a tidy base in Siem Reap. Outside of the old town, but an easy walk, this guesthouse is wonderful. Wonderful service. They set us up with a marvelous tuk tuk driver who made our 3 days in the ruins extraordinary. If we had had longer, we would have gotten up very early each morning... More

The guesthouse is an excellent place to stay. We were in the air conditioned rooms and they were great value. The location is close to the main tourist location but not too close. We were looked after really well and had an excellent tuk tuk driver taking us on the Temple tours and transferring us to and from the airport.

Frank is mien Host at the guest house and he was the perfect host. He was there if you needed anything but happy to leave you alone to do your own thing also. I found my room to be clean, cool, and comfortable. It even had a mosquito net for my bed. It is ideally located a short 5 minute... More

Before we arrived we heard about this place in the "stefan loose" forum. the reviews about the rooms and the owners were only good so we checked the price on their page, saw the pictures and looked forward to come here. we didn't make a reservation because of low season. We arrived around 7:30am and one of the stuff was... More

dear thore k, thank you for your review, but i think this is all a big misunderstanding. since we have our guesthouse in siem reap i am the fist one who stands up (which is something between 4:30 and 5:00 am) and i am as well the last one who goes to bed (this is often late, because i like... More

We stayed at the Bayon Garden guesthouse and felt almost like we were at home. Frank and Tanja were very hospitable and very helpful with travel arrangements. They were also very patient with indecisiveness about which room we wanted and our friend coming to stay with us in our room. It was great to just be sitting down in front... More

Bayon Garden was extremely comfortable...good A/C, comfortable bed, hot shower and basically quiet. Frank & Tanya were extremely kind and helpful. The best part was that they connected us with Da, one of the Tuk Tuk drivers they are associated with. We had a wonderful 3 days traveling to all the temples with Da. He shared information about his family,... More

We didn't find the hosts to be that friendly or helpful, bordering on judgmental, but in fairness we were moving through quickly. Room was hot, fan was largely ineffective, but tidy enough. Nice spacious shower (finally some room for a tall human). Quiet and slightly off the beaten track but easy walk to old market part of Siem Reap. Organised... More

dear bailey, to our mind it is not fair to judge about our character. you and michelle book just one night at the backpackers. we take our job very serious and we are friendly to everybody. when you are complaining that we are not helpful, how is it possible to organize a good tour guide for the temples for you....
