Firstly don't be put off by the drive down to the hotel which is a little primitive, however when you are at the hotel the place is stunning in an old franco/cambodian sort of way. The owner Fred is so friendly, helpful and chilled that the experience is a pleasure. The restaurant here is like everything else is a relaxing... More

La Palmeraie offers an amazing escape from busy streets of Siem Reap and equally busy - however spiritually enriching - Angkor sites. We enjoyed the pleasant ambiance amidst classy Franco-Cambo design. The delicious breakfast was served in the shadow of Buddha, in a cozy garden. The staff were extremely helpful, ready to provide advice and recommendations on Angkor visits and... More

Very good boutique hotel, nice setting, very relaxing, very friendly staff. It feels good to go back to the hotel after spending a day visiting the temples. It''s our second time there, definitely going back if we visit Siem Reap again.

Booked directly with the Hotel. Pick up was smooth, large and extremely private villa. It is next to the common areas and breakfast became better day by day as the hotel realised the vegetarian aspect. Very happy at the requests. Hired a Mini Van for the three days stay and were glad for the same. A little far from the... More

Beautiful garden with two lovely swimming pools ideal to relax. The room was very stylish, Cambodian decoration, spacious and well serviced. The food for dinner of the restaurant was delicious and the local staff was very friendly. Breakfast was, however, a bit minimalistic and not always fresh (frozen bread and croissants heated in the oven). There was noise during the... More

This hotel is beautifully decorated, very clean and quiet. The garden & pool area was exactly what our group of four families had hoped for as a relaxing play space after temple visiting. It is located on the outskirts of town near the airport which was nice in that the atmosphere surrounding it was quiet, semi-rural dwellings, but it is... More

What made this place is their staff and the owner and manager. Super friendly people who were very attentive and interested in making sure we were very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and got us ready for our long days at the temple complexes. They also helped us book a tuktuk for the entire day for a reasonable cost. Coming... More

If you're looking for an escape from the crowds of Siem Reap and some peace and quiet, La Palmeraie d'Angkor is for you. Located close to the airport, the property is absolutely gorgeous. With just four rooms, the service is personalized and attentive and it truly feels like a private escape, especially after a long hot day at the temples... More
