This is a great place to stay if you're after a calm, clean setting in a peaceful environment,. It is quite far from the action but still just a $2 tuk tuk. Loved all of the personal touches, the carvings are amazing. This is more high end than most guest houses/ back packers but still great value for money.

Around 20 of us descended on the Shining Angkor for 3 days and our first impression was how homely and comfortable the hotel was. Staff were excellent. There were some large areas for our group to get together in and the pool was good. Great Value for money and even though it is a little out of town it was... More

A very beautifully decorated hotel with large spacious rooms, close to Siem Riep temple sites. The incredible sites are not to be missed, also Ko Ker is worth the trip! There was a lot of choice for breakfast which was great. There wasn't much in the local vicinity, so you had to travel into the centre for dinner etc. This... More

Food at this hotel is better than the restaurants around Angkor Wat that we've been to; breakfast is sumptuous and fruits are provided in each room; I love the dragon fruit; Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable; best value for your money;

We loved this boutique, all the beautiful wood surrounding you looked and felt like we were somewhere special. Our whole experience was awesome, our tuktuk driver was kind and patient as we were traveling with our almost two year old. The pool was the perfect cool down, breakfast was great with lots to choose from. I would say the only... More

I have stayed at this hotel on a few occasions on my trips to Siem Reap and the Angkor complex. I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel. Friendly staff and nice clean rooms. All I need after a day out photographing the temples. I plan on coming back to Siem Reap around September / October, when the weather cools... More
