We loved this hotel. It was small and personal. Great restaurant and a lovely pool surrounded by greenery. Our room was amazing (deluxe balcony) with a huge balcony where we could relax with a glass of wine.

This place is lovely, the gardens are beautiful and there are little huts dotted all around the pool to relax in out of the sun. The pool is also amazing with waterfall and a pretty bridge. The staff are fantastic and are always there to help. The food is a good mix of Khmer and Western. We visited many times... More

Slightly bad start when the night porter asked us to pay up front when we arrived after a very long journey. However, things only improved. The room was lovely. This place has really thought through the little details, they had provided guide books in the rooms, drinking water (purified) for free which they constantly top up. There are really nice... More

I love this place. I just had my second stay at River Garden and it continues to be a beautiful place to relax in Siem Reap. The staff are wonderful , the food is fabulous and the garden and pool a relaxing place to while away the hot hours in the middle of the day. My children and I were... More

Have visited this hotel three times and never tire of it. Situated in a quiet part of town, it is a real oasis and only a walk or bike ride from the centre of Siem Reap. The food is quite delicious, the staff helpful and very friendly and the owner's dogs quite delightful. The rooms are beautifully kept with artful... More

Thanks Sally, it's great to have return guests. Glad you like the company of Honey. We have one guest who stays regularly for 6 weeks and she even requests the dogs in her room for the length of her stay! Your comments are appreciated and hopefully we'll see you again. More

As a solo traveller the River Garden was a beautiful place to arrive to after flying from the UK. Tuk tuk transfer was perfect. Eased my jet lag with wonderful food and drinks, super clean and comfy room and advice on where to go and what to see from the staff. The team here are wonderful, helpful and much fun.... More

We spent 4 nights at this lovely little hotel. It was an oasis just outside the busy town of Siem Reap and much better than staying in the larger hotels. We had a lovely room with a large verandah which looked down into the tropical garden and pool. The food was excellent and the staff were delightful and so friendly.... More

Thanks for the feedback. The reason the pool gets so busy on the weekends is because the expats have discovered that they can swim in the coolest pool and eat the most delicious food in town. It's a great combination. It's easy to book a sunlounge with the staff to ensure your comfort during the heat of the day. Happy... More

First of all, I like the simple architecture that adapts to its environment surrounded by plants and trees and lots of sunlight inside the room, especially the open air bathroom. The staff were friendly enough to explain the dishes' preparation to me and my brother. Over-all it was a good place to relax after a tiring day of temple hopping... More

situated in between the temples of Angkor and the downtown area of Siem Reap, you have the best of both worlds and more. Downtown Siem Reap is a pretty busy area, full of the normal tourist traps. The river garden area is a nice quiet area with plenty of small restaurants and markets. The River Garden itself is a small... More
