Delightful, friendly, small characterful hotel in which to stay that is founded on inspiring, socially minded principles. Very good food served in restaurant. Definitely will return here next time I visit Siem Reap. Michael JB

We have spent an amazing 5 days at the River Garden in Siem Reap. Upon arrival we were treated to a thirst quenching lime juice crush and a warm welcome from from the ever helpful and thoughtful staff. This included the Tuk Tuk driver who collected us from the airport and transported us daily to all destinations. We have grown... More

I stayed at the River garden for six weeks in June/July2014 while I volunteered at the Grace House. You may find similar values in Siem Reap, but you will not find a more delightful and engaging staff. The hotel is located 2K north along the river away from the hustle and bustle of Pub Street district, but just a $2... More

We booked into the River Garden in Siem Reap for four nights after Phnom Pehn. What a delightful and relaxing place to find after the hustle and bustle of the big city. Our hosts welcomed us and were there to give advice should we need it. We took a trip to Ankor Wat and the other temples and visited local... More

good value, if you go direct totheir website you will find special offers. Excellent pool and restuarant and very helpful staff. We had two rooms but the more expensive one was smaller and much darker, even tho it had a balcony. Much nicer than the huge hotels on the road to the airport, being close to the town cente. And... I have never stayed in The River Garden but often pop in for lunch. The food is delicious and an amazing value for money. If you manage to pass the front cafe without stuffing your face with a cake (advice - purchase one on the way out!) then delicious local and fusion food awaits you in the lush garden settings.... Lush tropical gardens, ponds with bright pink lilies, mango trees laden with fruit, and palm trees form an archway, while ducks gaggle about when you go down the pathway of the River Garden, a delightful piece of paradise. It is close enough to get to everything in the centre of Siem Reap if you are inclined to find a faster... More

A lovely little sanctuary hotel that has a swimming pool that can be used by non guests as long as you order something from the menu. Fair enough too! I highly recommend the pineapple and chili margaritas!!! Really nice place to chill out if you're hotel doesn't have a pool and you're dying in the Siem Reap heat! Very tranquil!
