We had an excellent stay at this resort a year ago when it was the Golden Banana Resort. The food, drinks, and pool were amazing. Siem Reap can get very warm, and it's nice to have a place you can cool down and relax. They were also excellent at organizing trips to the temples and Phnom Phen. One draw back... More

I stayed at the Rambutan hotel at the beginning of August. The location is great, you can easily get to the main part of town by foot. The hotel is a little gem, great decor, and a big bathtub on my balcony - perfect to relax after a day cycling around Angkor. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a great few days here. (It just changed its name from Golden Banana to Rambutan, but there are other places near by called Golden Banana). Nice pool, great service, strong drinks. It's just a short walk to down and short drive to Angkor. I'd highly recommend it.

Spent three days touring the Angkor temple complex but one of the highlights was staying at this amazing, intimate “resort.” From the moment you arrive at Rambutan Siem Reap you are surrounded by comfort. The staff is - to a person - professional, friendly and helpful. The rooms and pool areas are well equipped for comfort but not stuffy. I... More

I stayed at the Golden Banana Resort in June 2014. The place was cosy and a hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle of Pub Street. The staff was friendly and sincere in their service to you and overall we had a pleasant experience. During the trip, I lost my phone and to cut a long story short, it... More

Really enjoyed our stay, lovely and peaceful place, rooms are spacious with charming touch and impeccably clean. We've been welcome in a very professional and really nice way. Definitely looking to go back for a nice relaxing holiday.

This small boutique resort was a nice retreat from the busy streets and tourism of Siem Reap. It's tucked down an alley, has a lovely pool, and the rooms are comfortable and impecably clean. The service from the moment we arrived until the day we left was friendly, prompt, professional, and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.

It's peaceful here, close enough to walk to the night market and the restuarants but not poluted by the noise. The rooms are set around a small pool. There are plenty of loungers and shade from the sun.The small bar does a great selection of cocktails and the food is fine. The ground floor rooms have an outside bath which... More

The hotel is perfect location but a 5 minute walk to the Old Market, Pub Street & Night Market Areas. You are greeted with rambutan a refreshing drink. The pool is lovely. The room is quite spacious and the bathroom comes with a rain shower as the balcony has a bathtub and lounge chairs. It's all a very beautiful and... More

I did some fact finding and found out it is managed by the same people who manages Rambutan Resort in Phnom Penh. So I thought, give it a try. We made our booking via online for both resorts hence enjoyed some discount. Yeay! The GBR is slightly more expensive than the Rambutan Resort in Phnom Penh however GBR is slightly... More
