The staff are nice , a bit forced, but nice . That's the only good thing about that place unfortunately. the rooms are just not worth the $15 . ( I am saying this as a person who spent 2 months in Siem Reap; you can rent rooms for the same price in way cleaner, more comfortable and better looking... More

Me and my boyfriend came here for 3 nights , we were greeted with a worm welcome , the staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast was quite simple but enough. The room was clean and so did the bed and shower. All in all we had a great time. Very good location 10 min walk from the pub street.... More

I booked Ta Som Guesthouse, Siem Reap based on great reviews, then the day we travelled I checked for the address and saw a less than happy recent guest’s words. Compounded by the airport taxi driver’s comment, ”I’ve never taken guests there.” I was quite apprehensive. However, Ta Som Guesthouse turned out to be a value for money, port in... More

For the future guests of Ta Som: please do not believe every idiot that waists his or her time writing bad reviews about this place...My partner and I have been guests here since Jan 5th and leaving Jan 25th; we have nothing bad to say about Ta Som...I mean, for US $15/night for a double room, what do some people... We booked for five days and walked after two. My wife and I are fairly seasoned travelers and have toured extensively in Asia. We are not particularly fussy but we do like a level of cleanliness and comfort. We got neither at the Ta Som. I also understand the concept of a budget hotel and did not expect the Ritz,... More

Old rooms with tiles on the ground and walls and strange lights, not very comfi, but always clean. Service at reception was always good. Laundry service a bit too expensive compared to services outside the hotel. Breakfast was included, had a menu for that with several options.

My friend and I stayed in a private room for seven nights this January. We were greeted at the Giant Ibis bus station by a tuk-tuk driver who took us back to the hotel free of charge and had exceptional service from then on. The hotel staff even took us to karaoke one night. If you want a nice, safe... More

At first we were really impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the good service. We were picked up from the airport, got even a welcome drink and changed the room, cause the first one was directly next to reception area. Then we recognised some annoying things in the room: the toilet was not clean (so I did by... More

The place is just a short walk from the local high street & about 15 mins from pub street. The location is very near to the temples, the local museum & the airport. The area is very safe & quiet, you get a good nights sleep here. The rooms are average, you get what you pay for. Towels are replaced... More

I stayed herr for two nights over new year and although it is cheap I woukd expect better. Bathroom was not clean when I arrived and was in some state. Rest of room was ok. Every time I was in reception there was someone complaining about the room or the hotel had overbooked. Worst was when I got laundry. Picked... More
