The hotel looked nice on the surface. But there were many things that were sub-par: - Leaky plumbing (water on bathroom floor every morning) - Hard mattress - Spotty WIFI that only worked in the lobby / restaurant - Moldy bathtub screen Management try to cut costs by not shining the lobby floor and not air conditioning it. They also... More

We originally were going to stay for one night. However, we extended the stay, and got upgraded to one of the rooms on the top floor! There is also a pool and buffet breakfast every morning! I also appreciate the live music that plays in the lobby. Overall, this was an excellent hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Lucky Angkor looks great on the surface (the new building was only opened in 2012), but had lots of problems. The positive things first: a spacious, glamorous lobby; large pool; huge breakfast buffet (included and mostly Asian food); spacious, bright room; EXTREMELY kind staff. The problems: they could not find our Air-BnB booking on check in; the plumbing is terrible... More

My wife and I landed at 10pm in siem reap and grabbed a taxi to the hotel. Looking around it was interesting as well as unnerving due to the uncertainty of Cambodia. However we rolled up to a beautiful looking hotel and were greeted by name at the front. Luggage was taken. Common small talk was had. And they basically... More

We reached Siem Reap at around 4pm after a very long and tiring road trip from Phonm Penh as the roads till the first half were under widening, only to be informed by the hotel that two rooms in our group could not be given to us as the earlier occupants had taken a late check out. This is not... More

My husband and I stayed one night here in January, as we had originally booked two nights at another hotel at the last minute only to find that the other hotel was full and we got a transfer here. The room we stayed in was on the fourth floor, at the front of the hotel. It was clean, quiet, and... More

Wow, I'm surprised to see so many mediocre or downright bad reviews for Lucky Angkor. Our experience was the complete opposite back in September 2013. We found Lucky Angkor on the agoda app and booked for a great rate. I emailed the hotel our flight information and asked for transportation to be arranged. When we arrived in Siem Reap we... More

That hotel is a bit far from the city. You will need a tuk tuk. Room size are fine but it was not 100%clean, especially the bathroom. The staff are ok but I can not say more than that! All your expenses in that hotel need to be carefully checked before payment!!!
