Travelling need not be expensive if you find the right place to stay and people to help you in your trip.. Siem Reap Guesthouse is the right place to stay...situated in a good location near areas where you can eat good food and buy some good stuff ...spacious and clean rooms with comfy pillows and clean white linen and towels,... If the fact that this is the most ethical place I have ever stayed (they work with local causes, sponsor their staff's university education and teach responsible tourism to overseas students) does not draw you in then the beautiful garden full of cozy seating and the sweeping staircase up to large well presented rooms will. What completes the experience is... More

A fantastic hostel with friendly staff and a really nice atmosphere. The rooms were clean, with aircon and hot water in the shower. The bar and restaurant are a fantastic place to chill out and the food is great. It's a 10-15 minute walk into the lively old market quarter. The hostel staff are friendly and helpful and will organise... More

The owners have done everything right. Our room was clean and spacious with a great shower and comfy bed. The building is decorated very nicely and the outside/bar area has a great feel to it. The Norwegian couple who owned it were great fun and showed us a good time. The rest of the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgable.... More

I have stayed at Babel Guesthouse several times, and in truth, there is nowhere else in Siem Reap that I'd prefer to stay. From the tranquil garden restaurant, to the cool and clean bedrooms, and to each smiling staff member, this place is beyond incredible. The restaurant and chill out area is comfortable and relaxing, a great place to meat... More

I stayed at Babel with a volunteer group for around two weeks. The service there was so great! The staff are some of the nicest people I've met and they were always so friendly and happy. The location is only a small walk from the main parts of Siem Reap, it normally was only $2 for a tuk tuk to... More

I stayed at Babel in December 2013 and would recommend them to anyone looking for accommodation in Siem Reap. The rooms were spacious, clean and the staff were willing to help you out any time of the day or night. Babel isn't located right in the centre of Siem Reap but there were always tuk-tuk drives waiting on the street... More

We checked out a few places in Siem Reap, before deciding to stay at Babel. While there is cheaper accommodation to be found in Siem Reap (for this reason only, I have scored the value as 'average' - in most other places the value would be very good or excellent), we felt that the room we got at Babel was... The staff at this place are simply amazing and make this Guesthouse the best one I have visited. Most all speak at-least decent english and will bend over backwards to help you. Rooms are very large with all the luxury's you expect, aircon is great. The complementary breakfast is quite light however tasty non of the less. I wouldn't advice... More

Thanx for your review James. I'm glad to hear that the staff made you feel welcomed. They will appreciate the feedback. It is true that you pay a price premium compared to the other guesthouses on our street. On the other hand we sincerely believe that we offer a more comfortable experience, and compared to accommodation around Siem Reap we... More
