I had a problem with the air con when I arrived, but the staff found a solution immediately. It's a nice place to stay in Siem Reap, not located in the downtown area, but you can get a tuk tuk for a couple of dollars in 5 minutes. The mood of Babel is quiet and relaxing. I would definitely recommend... More

Nice and big rooms with AC. Basic breakfast included. The owners and the staff are amazing and very helpful. Great atmosphere. Located in a quiet area and 10-20 minutes walk away from the Old Market and Pub Street. Nothing to complain about. Fikk vaere med naar det var foredrag om responsible tourism og naar ansatte fikk informasjon om plastikk og... More

Stayed there for 5 nights in April with Friends. A very nice place to stay and explore Siem Reap and it's sights. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bathroom is private. Air condition was working well. Staff was always friendly and very helpful. The nice garden is perfect to enjoy drinks, especially in the evening. Reasonable prices and very cosy atmosphere.... More

This is a fairly basic, no frills place. Rooms are nice and spacious. Staff are very good. Simple breakfast. You can do a sunset 'tour' which I highly recommend. Basically a tuk tuk driver drops you off and you trek to a temple with a great view of the sunset... without the crowds! Just make sure you know where you're... More

I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this hostel. The rooms were very clean and airy, the breakfast was great (I recommend the banana pancakes), and the staff were very nice and helpful. My only complaint is that no one came to pick me up from the bus stop even with due warning but it was not... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Babel for 4 nights. Overall, we really liked the place! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, our room was clean and had a private bathroom, and the pool next door ($3 USD/day) was an added bonus. The on-site restaurant was really good too. We had breakfast/dinner there and the food was delicious. The... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking time to write a review. I'm happy to hear that you found our staff friendly and that you enjoyed our facilities. I will pass that on to the staff. I'm sorry to hear that the air conditioner didn't work that well. It can become a bit hot on the top floor. We appreciate your... More

Great guest house tucked away in quiet cul de sac but not far from centre activities. Comfortable, clean room with individual decor. Breakfast was good and staff arranged for take away breakfast for our 5am pick up for Angkor Wat. Would definitely recommend this good value guest house..

Next time I am in Siem Reap (and there will definitely be a next time), I will stay at the Babel Guest House again for sure. The rooms are super clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere and staff are fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. There are some cheaper spots to stay, but for private rooms and what you get,... My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights and it was amazing! The room was clean, spacious with air con and tv. The staff were incredibly friendly and we loved the chilled out atmosphere here. The hostel provided everything we could have wanted and they even help their staff get a higher education which we thought was great. They... More
