    I think some of these reviews are being a little rough. If you're expecting a stay at the Hilton, don't stay here but if you like quaint old buildings with a lot of history and charm then this is your place. The man who owns it is very sweet.     We didn't even stay the night! There were many things that needed doing to make this place the type of B&B you would want to stay at, but the main thing was the cleanliness.....or lack of!     This is a building that was built in about 1840 (there is another attached building that was built in 1799) and restored in 1997. It was owned by it's namesake, who designed Atlantic City and arranged for the railroad to go there from Philadelphia. I think he stole the street names from the monopoly game.     Cheap rooms, easy access to AC and beach. Needs some cleaning and spiffing (dusty/cobwebs, and some worn/dirty rugs). But bed/bath area were clean which are what counts. Delicious filling breakfasts!

    We were really looking forward to a night away for our anniversary; however our expectations unfortunately fell short. As much as the inn was quaint and had abundant charm it was also very dirty.
