We switched to Chobe Safari Lodge from Kubu after one night and were very glad we did it (we were camping) Chobe lodge is right in town so you can walk around to get cash or search for safari trips. The camp site was great (we were right by the river and in a grassy area) and an extraordinary value... more

I realised after I had booked this lodge that it was large but I didn't anticipate how big it was. It was more like a hotel. All the food was buffet. The breakfast and dinner choice was very good but the lunchtime menu was very uninteresting. The waiting staff were very busy dealing with large groups and couples tended to... more

We were fortunate to get two second floor riverview rooms. The lodge was fully booked when we arrived and was at capacity for our entire stay. Never the less the service was excellent and the food wonderful. We enjoyed the river cruises, game drives and the highlight for us, the dinner cruise. The lodge is very open and spacious and... more

Have always wanted to visit Chobe and have to admit was surprised how good the hotel was. Booked the hotel and read the many reviews on tripadvisor, and had mixed feelings about staying here. Have to admit that was really surprised how good the hotel was, its location, the rooms and the staff were fantastic. Admitedly the hotel would have... more

We stayed here at the final leg of our holiday in Botswana. To be honest a bit of an anti-climax after the delightful camps in the Okovango Delta. Its a large hotel and definately not a lodge. We felt that we were just a number - one of the thousands of tourists that come through here. The staff were completely... more

This lodge is very well located near the Wonderful Chobe park in Botswana. Rooms are nice and clean. It is not a small intimate with personalized service and you pay less than comparable lodges in the area becaise of that. more

Having arrived at 11 a.m. I had to wait another 2.5 hours to get my room. Atmosphere is laid back in the morning when guests are at game driving and mass tourism in the afternoon when guests and other tourists wait for their river tour. River tours are good value and you can see many kind of animals but be... more

We stayed three nights with our two year old daughter and had a lovely time. The hotel is clean, rooms are large and very comfortable. River views were amazing from our room. Our Unit also had a second bedroom for our daughter. Afternoon river cruise was amazing with elephant swimming infront of our small boat. Also did a private river... more

This is a very nice hotel right next to the magical Chobe river. We had a great room with river views, and with great African decorations. The restaurant, lobby and the pool side were all nicely planned and decorated with a great ambiance. The staff were attentive, and quite professional according to our limited African experience. The extras were reasonably... more
