If you want enjoy your stay in Kasane, GO FAR AWAY from that Lodge (???) & camping. They pay the same attention to the clients that have with the info (2 different Webpages at the same time, 2 differents procedures for booking!). Don't trust them when they say there's a NEW MANAGEMENT and a lot of improvements. So, FORGET IT:... More

I stayed at this place 2 years ago. No complaints. Nice staff, nice camping site, good quality and fair price. Went back two months ago, and I was disgraced by the awful change. It took me three weeks two book, they did not answer my emails, neither phone calls. The place seems to be abandoned and falling apart, rude staff,... More

We stayed here because the lodge that we were supposed to stay in was overbooked. The rooms are clean and they all have a view of the Chobe River. The grounds are well kept. We only had 2 breakfast here as our tour leaded cooked dinners at the camp grounds at night. The lodge has a serious shortage of towels,... More

We arrived as a tour group. They offered us a place in a row of rooms which smelled of sewage. Air conditioning was not working and they solved this by opening the window. Great! - this is malaria country. After our protests, they moved us to a lodge near the river. And again no air con. The duty manager promised... More

We stayed two nights in one of the lodges near the river. Our lodge had wonderful views of the river, which sometimes floods the lodges and grounds, which might explain the poor state of the carpets. The bathroom was tiny but there was lots of hot water and the toilets flushed. Air conditioning was not working in all cabins but... More

We booked our holiday at Toro lodge in April. Before our arrival we had to sign a creditcard deduction form for the deposit. After our stay we notice that they deducted an amount twice on our creditcard. We would like to warn people not to sign the form. We have tried to get them to pay it back but it... More

Stayed here just one night. Nice views of the Chobe river, and you can hear hippo's at night. Common areas are nice, but in need of maintenance. Same goes for the room - comfortable, but power points and fixtures falling apart, and room lacked lighting. It was cheap and in a nice location on the outskirts of Kasane.

We stayed in Room 6. Two single beds with a double bed mattress. Uncomfortable sleeping experience. On 14.6.2014 they promised to replace the double bed mattress with two single bed mattresses. On returning to the lodge later the afternoon we found the room without changes made. We complaint without any success. Towels in a bad state. We will never make... More

The views of the river from the cabins are amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I think I had one of the best sirloin steaks I have ever had here. If I had a small criticism it would be that the service was a bit slow, but once you realise you have to wait a while for your... More
