We stayed in a private room/container for 3 nights. The location is ok being a 30 minute walk from the main square but still 5-10 minutes from mini markets and restaurants. We thought the container idea was pretty nice and different. The room look good but the bed was awfully hard and the floor got very dusty and dirty after... More

I was in a large dorm, which had just been renovated. It was spacious, clean and all the bed had their own little light and plug. The bathroom was really big, but at the end of the day not so clean anymore, could use a twice-a-day clean. There were enough toilets in the building. The pool was nice to cool... More

Not the greatest location but the hostel is lovely. The staff speak English and are helpful. You can book taxi's, trips etc. with them. Kitchen is nice and big and has everything needed to cook. We had a private double which wasn't very big but was comfortable. Showers were nice. Had pool but weather was bad when we were there.... More

We stayed both in a private cabin across the road and in a dorm. The rooms are pretty big and clean. Besides there is a nice atmosphere as there are always people in the communal areas. The swimming pool is great with temperatures they have in Santa Cruz. Breakfast is OK and comes with egg any style, which is a... More

Very good facilities and breakfast. The blankets are clean and also the bedrooms. It is a little bit noisy since they have party every weekend. As I have been there for a single night to get a flight in the following day, I could not sleep. However, it is the best option in the city.

The hostel looks nice, they even have a swinmingpool. But beware, everything costs money! The private room is already 300 Bolivianos, but you don't have priviliges. When you ask for a phone call, you have to pay. They let you sign to not bring alcohol inside, you just can order crappy cocktails and sweet wine... There's also a video camera... More

Dear guest, we are glad you think our hostel looks nice and you liked the swimming pool. We would like to clarify what you get for the 300 Bs. you paid for your room: Private Room Ensuite with matrimonial bed located in our quiet privet area with security card control access, cable TV, air conditioner, fan, WiFi and continental breakfast... We have mixed feeling about this great place. We stayed in the expensive double suite room. Although the room is indeed a cargo container, it is really comfortable. We cannot believe it is in Bolivia. Has cable TV, hot shower, air conditioner, wooden furniture... Breakfast is served by the staff with your choice of egg, fruit, bread and coffee tea... More

Of course you can live here, but generally nothing special. There is internet and wi-fi, which periodically breaks. There are a list of strict rules are asked to read and sign on the checking time. The staff tries to do the best. But the fact that prices are too high is the main disadvantage of this hostel. Excuse me, but... More

Dear Traveler, Thanks for stay with us. We are glad you enjoyed your stay at Jodanga. Strict rules unfortunately are mandatory to avoid future problems, not only "Angels" traveling around. We are sorry to read we are overpriced for Santa Cruz because: 1. Santa Cruz is the most expensive city from Bolivia and one of the fastest growing cities from... More

This was one of the best hostels I have stayed at in South America. The location is great and a short distance from the bus station. It's an easy walk into the town or the markets to eat and the hostel has maps available to get you there. The four person dorm was massive and really clean, with a great... More

There's not much to do in Santa Cruz so this place is good as its always busy with backpackers. We were there in low season so a lot of their tours weren't running sadly and it was a bit cold for a swim! Dorms are expensive at 100Bs for Bolivia Pros: Great breakfast - seriously huge and worth getting up... More
