Coming from Puno (Peru), my girlfriend and I stayed at Las Olas. We initially booked for one night, but fell in love with the place, so extended our stay for another night. Normally this would not be possible because Las Olas is fully booked all the time, but because someone did not confirm his/her booking we got lucky. The first... More

You have to stay here for a one-of-a-kind experience. Martin is super talented and helpful in suggesting what to do (and what not to do). Go there to relax, enjoy the beautiful views and soak in everything that is special about Las Olas.

Las Olas is a relaxing and great value place to stay. The suites are beautiful and also very clean, surrounded by carefully tended gardens (where you can relax in the hammocks, deckchairs or hot tub). We stayed in 'the Snail', which is very thoughtfully designed and built, and for just under $50 a night was a total bargain for the... More

I cannot fault las olas. Everything from start to finish was perfect. Amazing oasis in a bustling little town. Room was beautiful with a lovely view of lake titikaka. We stayed in suite 6. We had a lovely garden to relax in during the day with hammocks. A lovely fire place and heater to keep us warm at night. Hot... More

What an amazing place. So much attention to detail has been put in designing this place. The private huts are little architectural gems, with perfect views of the lake. The owner is a great guy, friendly, flexible and so attentive. Trout fondue and the best Moussaka of my life (and I am half Greek) were brought to our room as... More

My girfriend and I stayed in hut #4 La Tortuga or The Turtle which was shaped like...well you get it. The room had a fantastic view, full kitchen, round bed and fireplace. It was an extremely romantic room. We stayed one night and enjoyed our own private hot tub for an hour (30Bs). We paid $50USD for the night. But... More

Cute, cute, cute! I stayed in Suite 2. Loved everything about it, except their wifi is impossible to connect to, but up at La Cupula, the sister hotel, you could get a great wifi connection. No big deal. Loved the warmth of the fireplace with my coca/chamomile tea late at night. Great bed, slept like a baby. Amazing view of... More

Las Olas is definately unique in architecture and design. Besides the cottages are well equiped. It has a beautiful view over the harbour and the lake. Very friendly staff. There are only some limitations with wifi, but next door at Hotel Cupula wifi is ok. Please note that the place is not suitable for disabled persons (stairs and far from... More

We arrived and were instantly wowed by the beautiful stained glass windows, views and nicely appointed villa. My hubby lit the fire (not a big one, just normal) we got out a pack of cards and prepared for a cosy night in, cooking up some food we had bought in the village. Suddenly the power went out! Looking around confused... More

We stayed two nights in suite 2, which was a very nice experience. The room is great, with a nice kitchen, bathroom, living room and a bed upstairs. We lounged in our hamocks outside with superb view of the lake and city. Fantastic! The restaurant in the sister hotell, La Cupula, is a good choice. We even got room service... More
