If you've got the money, it's worth it. Totally unique experience. Wonderfully built rooms and lodge/yurt accommodation. Very helpful and friendly staff. Amazing views over the lake. Great place to chill out and relax in Copacabana. Also, thankfully, priced out of range of the hippie/bum deadbeat traveller type that swarm the town - a major plus!

I spent 3 nights at $35 per night. Pricey for the area but a fabulous place. I requested a single but got a cabin for 6 at the same rate. It was really nice to have the little kitchen area. They provide tea and coffee supplies for you to fix yourself. Very nice to have a cup of coca tea... More

We were really happy to be able to reserve a suite at Las Olas on a last minute visit to Copacabana. The cabins are charming, all different in style and all perched on a hill overlooking Lake Titicaca. Our cabin was spacious with everything you could need including a kitchen and an indoor hammock. There was even a little woodburning... More

We booked this place last minute and ended up adding on an extra night - it was so good! The 7 cabins are all completely unique; they're very imaginatively decorated and well thought out. Each has a little kitchenette, as well as a private 'garden' complete with deck chairs and hammocks. The staff are friendly and the views are incredible!... More

We were due to stay here for 1 night in January, however we loved it so much we stayed for 2 and sacrificed a night in La Paz. My wife was also recovering from a stomach infection picked up earlier on our trip, this was the perfect place to relax. As we booked our second night last minute, we were... More

What a magical place ! I stayed here for 5 nights in early September 2014, and had the pleasure to meet and chat with Martin who is both the owner and the mastermind of this architectural wonderland. Martin likes to have a high occupancy and keep the prices down - so that everybody has a chance to stay. I especially... More

I am absolutely enthusiastic about this place. Such an awesome athmosphere, such original and HUGE apartments (with kitchen, free coffee, umbrellas, super-hot showers, hammocks, private garden, they even have hot-water bottles for cold nights ;-)), such nice staff, an awesome restaurant and a hot tub with beautiful views over Lake Titikaka. This place has absolutely everything, and all that for... More

We stayed in the Snail House. It is the most interesting and original place I ever slept. The view from the private terrace is great. It has a little kitchen, perfect for cooking. If you sleep in the bed upstairs you will fall asleep with the view of the lake Titicaca. I really recommand it for an original experience!

Considering that all the other options in Copacabana look to be hostels for a few dollars a night, my guess is that this is the best option. But considering this is 5-10x the price of the others, I wouldn't put it as a slam dunk choice (though at under 50 USD per night, I'd still recommend). It is a very... More

The hotel is composed of 7 suites each of which has a different theme and is exquisitely decorated. They all have a small garden with a couple of hammocs and their windows all face the lake. During the day you can enjoy Lamas roaming around the property. Prices are affordable, staff extremely friendly and suites have small but well equipped... More
