The 4 rating is for Bolivia if this was in another country it might only get a 3. Likes: clean, most of the staff were nice, collection from bus, free tea and fruit in reception area, breakfast, hot (for Bolivia) shower, OK (for Bolivia wifi) Slight dislikes: my room looked out on a scruffy yard, a little bit out of... We stayed here for 2 nights. The room we had was very large and a nice view over the Tititica lake. Wifi wasn't available all day (which is common in Bolivia). Breakfast was the best we had, and also the free coca thea and fruitin the lobby are nice towards the guests. It isn't the cheapest option and the best... More

Looking for more than a private room in a hostel... than this is a good place to stay Nice clean rooms with good beds. Shower is hot and fine enough. If necessary the heater can be switched on in your room if the nights are to cold (but for us it was not needed). Excellent big breakfast with tea/coffee, egg,... More

Hotel Utama is centrally located, the staff are helpful and there is free food and drink in the courtyard all day. The only downside was the shower was very temperamental; sometimes it was freezing then very hot, then not working at all.

We have stayed here a couple of times before which were okay but this most recent stay (5th Oct 2014) we checked in around 11am had just come off an overnight bus from Peru so had a nap & shower. We left the hotel at 1pm and gave our room key to the daughter of the owners as we left... More

We stayed here for only one night. It is a few blocks away from the bus station. My wife and I were picked up so that saved us walking up the hill with our luggages.. The hotel is spacious. It has a very big lobby and there is an unlimited supply of tea, coffee, oranges and bananas. Our room was... More

We spent 2 nights at Hotel Utama. We had a nice room that looked over the lake (room 211). The staff were nice and helpful. We had no issue in getting into the hotel after 10pm, there was a security guard on duty. The breakfast was also really nice, the coffee was really good! The shower was cold on morning,... More

We have spent 2 nights in this hotel. Staff is really nice, rooms are clean with hot water and situation is close to the lake Mate coca, mineral water, bananas and pop corn are offered in the lounge which is a really nice consideration. Breakfast is more than correct The only thing to improve would be the WiFi speed

Best breakfast in Bolivia ! Love those bolivian cups, strong coffee, delicious and diversified buffet. Not so close to Titicaca, but you can have a side view to the lake, depending on your room. No really on the main street, but Copacabana is quite small, you can reach the main street taking a 10 minutes walk. Nice decor of the... More
