Slightly higher priced hostel in Copacabana but pleasant stay. Room is large with lots of warm clean bedding. Shower didn't produce hot water on first inspection but this was quickly fixed by the staff. Wifi worked well, nice shared area with couches and free snacks. Breakfast was excellent: eggs, fruit, yoghurt, toast. Just up the hill from the bus drop... More

We reserved from Italy at a price who looked quite cheap (26 euro) but when there we discovered that we could have same level for about half (it was low season). Utama is at the quite poor level of almost all hotels of Copacabana, and rooms are a bit worst than you can imagine watching pics. What is good: Breakfast... More

Three of us stayed 2 nights so used 2 rooms- both had thick blankets, rugs and paintings that made the rooms feel homely ( after 5 months of hostels it's great to be somewhere with character). Hot water, towels, tvs etc. breakfast was excellent, as was the all day free supply of fruit, tea and water. We arranged a trip... More

We only stayed here for one night before going to Isla del Sol but would recommend it. The room was clean and quiet and the shower was warm enough. It was a cold and stormy night, but we were more than warm enough. There is free mate de coca and purified water available all day. The breakfast was brilliant: yogurt,... More

Comfortable, warm beds; hot showers every day with free shower gel; tasty, surprisingly big breakfast; friendly, helpful staff; free drinks and snacks in the lobby; good views of the lake from the front rooms; sheets and towels changed every day. Only small negative would be the cost of laundry, although we probably could have gone to a lavandaria in town... More

We were collected from the bus which was great even though the hotel is very near where the bus drops you off. It makes a huge difference when going into altitude and carrying bags. The breakfasts were very substantial with eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit, juice, coffee and cereal with yogurt. We couldn't eat everything. Plenty of water and coca tea... More

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and breakfast was top notch. The table in the entrance offering free tea, water, bananas and popcorn (a big hit) was a welcome treat. At times it could get quite noisy in the street and would have helped more if some of the staff spoke english but they were all very friendly... More

Rooms nice, clean and spacious. Very good breakfast, the nicest we had in Bolivia. Bread, eggs, pankackes, cornfkakes, fruit salad etc. Very nice and helpful staff. Cheap international calls. Free snacks( choclates, bananas) mate de coca and water all day. Nice lounge to chill out. Close to the lake. the only bad thing; terrible internet connection, impossible to use!

Good location, in a quiet area of Copabana but close to the main street and the lake. Very very very helpful staff. We had hot water without problems and a clean big room. Not very good WIFI and basic but abundant breakfast. Not the cheapest in town, but you get what you are offered, fair enough.

We stayed here as we found some hostels fully booked. Our stay was pleasant as the room was nice with seaview and good beds. The shower was cold sometimes but we made no effort to have it checked, could be the gas as I think the heater was hooked up to an empty bottle. Breakfest was very nice with pancakes,... More
