I stayed at this hotel from March 2nd to March 6th. The hotel is centrally located in the "Prado" area. It is a high rise with 12 floors. My room was on the top floor. It had great city views. Luxury is a stretch when describing this place. The rooms look a bit dated, similar to most average American motels.... more

I've stayed at the Hotel Diplomat on two occasions, the staff is friendly enough, and some rooms have nice views of the city. But the rooms are decorated like a motel 6, and the wireless internet barely works. But you probably won't find anything nicer here. more

Stayed at the Diplomat for work, but it would also be a great choice for personal travel. Perfect location, nice rooms with comfortable beds and cable TV, friendly staff, free internet in the business center, etc. I can´t think of any downsides.
