I stayed at Marina Hotel twice (with a small interruption in-between). The first stay was ok as I booked a room with sea view which is a bit more expensive than the other rooms. The second time I had a room supposed to be with sea view but it was definitively not worth the money as my view was mainly... More

My sister, my five year old niece and I arrived Cotonou a little after 1:00am on the 29th of Nov and went to another hotel which was fully booked, they directed us here and we were welcomed by very friendly staff who were very polite and helpful. The Room we got was not bad and quite decent. The bathroom was... More

My Washington colleagues and I found this hotel, an ex-Sheraton, to be a bit pricey at 79,000 francs, or $160, for B & B. However, during the slack season, ending 31 December 2014, they give you a third night free for two paid nights. The management sometimes needs reminding of this offer; mention the offer in any Email correspondence with... More

Ex Sheraton, it's considered to be a 4 Stars Hôtel ... I've been here 3 times in a year, each stay about one month ..It's very close to the office and the airport, people working here are friendly and dedicated, but the structure needs a heavy requalification !

I stayed here a bunch of times in 2014 on about 6 trips in and out of Benin. I found the hotel to be clean, the staff friendly, the breakfast buffet excellent, the pool & outdoor eating above average. The only internet is in the lobby.

I stayed in this hotel during a 1-week business trip to Cotonou in July 2013. I didn't really want to stay here, but I was advised by my local partners that I needed to stay there to be "treated seriously." Go figure. Firstly, the hotel is very, very OLD. No wifi in rooms (only wifi in the lobby), the bathrooms... More

This hotel is well located and is quiet. It has been in operation for decades and has somehow managed to maintain its services and basic charm. The staff are friendly and while there are several other newer hotels which are better value and more charismatic for reliability over the years this hotel deserves credit. The food is fine but there... More

Thank you. It is true that our hotel is there a long time, but we do our best to maintain it. In addition to the lovely surroundings, it is well located (5 minutes from the airport - free shuttle), the most beautiful pool in Cotonou, the only golf course in Benin, three tennis courts, a nightclub, etc.. Also, nearly half... More

Good location but the meals were very expensive. Also, internet in the room was not working or extremely slow..our group had to make do with the wifi which was restricted to the lobby area. They did have nice food.

We went to Cotonou for a friend's wedding ceremony and since Cotonou was close to Lagos, We went by road. It was really difficult crossinf the boarders despite the Ecowas free boarder agreement between Nigeria and Benin Republic so when we arrived the Hotel, all we wanted to do was sleep, sleep and sleep. Good enough, the hotel is in... More
