This remote resort has really friendly staff and great tours. We enjoyed our time here. The massages were very relaxing. The room decorations were a bit too eccentric for our taste but you don't go on vacation to stay in the room, right? Take the snorkeling tour for a full day of boat riding, snorkeling and Caye Caulker sight seeing.... More

We bought a Living Social deal to visit Belize (a "must see" on our vacation list) and ended up at Maruba Resort Jungle Spa. We are not "risk takers", so buying the deal was unusual for us. The resort was wonderful! Very different décor which made us smile when we entered our room. We spent 6 nights...gave us an opportunity... More

If you want a cookie-cutter Caribbean experience, do not visit Maruba Resort. If you want a truly relaxing vacation with delicious foods and service, book right away! We spent four nights at this unusual and unusually lovely resort. Our signature suite was exquisite--large and very clean. The decor is certainly not for the faint-hearted--it is bold and eclectic, but that's... More

While visiting Belize in February we spent two nights here. The resort itself seems a bit dated. Staff was great, food was very good. Just not my cup of tea. I am more of a beach resort type of person so being in the jungle was a bit off for me. The other guests were having a great time and... More

A very different creatively built hotel, located between Belize city (1 hr. 30 mins) and Lamani within the jungle. We stayed in a standard room that was decorated somewhat like the inside of a space ship…..silver pebble dashed walls & ceilings, with all sorts of lamp shade colors. Whacky but cool! There is not much too actually do as the... More

We stayed two nights. The grounds are well kept and in a remote location. While close to Belize City, the property is located on the old Northern Highway and there just isn't much to do in the area. Several guests we spoke with there stated that they were unable to go on tours because there weren't enough guest. I felt... More

Maruba Resort Jungle Spa guarantees that all tours offered by the resort will be available at least once durning the stay at the resort and there are plenty of activities like Maya Ruins, Guided Rainforest Hikes, Jungle River Boat Rides, Cave Tours, Snorkeling, & Spa. The Belize Rainforest is humid and the canopy of trees shade the accommodations so the... More

For those discerning travelers that want unabashed elegance in lodging with a decidedly artistic twist Maruba Resort and Jungle Spa is just what the doctor ordered. Each biomorphic lodge looks like that it was designed by genius architect Antoni Gaudi. Moorish broken tile designs in the interiors are dazzling; This guest certainly enjoyed those visual delights. There are the innovators... More

During our stay in Belize we stayed at 3 properties to get the feel of the country and chose Maruba as our jungle experience. This property us off the beaten track and very bumpy roads, but not unbearable. The property itself is well maintained and offers some lovely secluded pool areas. We had the Chapel villa, which had a hot... More

We have stayed a lot of amazing hotels but this gem takes the cake. Melanie and Nicky and their team are amazing. We had a private signature suite with our own jacuzzi which was awesome. This resort is nestled in the jungle and has the most amazing full spa. We did the couples mud bath which was an experience. The... More

I live on Ambergris Caye and when we our son and daughter visit from the States we decided to take a private boat from our dock to see the ruins and have lunch and massage at the resort . The ride to the resort was awesome weaving through backwaters very exotic and the boat dropped us off at some tiny... More
