The Glynn House Inn is a fantastic place to stay, especially if you are looking for a romantic getaway. My wife and I stayed there the week of October 20th, 2014. We were originally scheduled to stay for three nights but after our arrival quickly decided to extend the stay, first one night and then another. We stayed in the... More

The reviewer’s from Delaware selected the Glynn House Inn for their honeymoon. Every bride and groom want their honeymoon to be absolutely perfect. After originally booking three evenings, extending for a fourth and adding a fifth day; we felt confident that their experience at the Inn had met and exceeded their expectations. Many of our return guests select the Jefferson... More

We stayed in the "Taft" room which was furnished with good quality period pieces, bed was very comfortable and visual /Audio system worked well and Dvd's could be borrowed from hosts extensive library. House is a fine example of local period architecture and provides spacious well appointed accommodation. Hosts provided excellent breakfast menu and happily catered for food allergies. Glenn... More

The reviewer from Winchester, England stayed in the Taft Deluxe Bedroom. Prospect visitors who view room photos will note a wood window frames, flooring and a wood surround fireplace. The bed is a traditional four-poster. This guest room is not our largest bedroom but remains very popular due to the decor and period furnishings that the reviewer highlighted. The reviewer... More

This was our first visit to New England, and the Glynn House was a delightful base from which to explore New Hampshire. Glenn is the perfect host. He handled breakfast service, dispensed sight-seeing advice, and made boat reservations for us all at the same time with ease. Our room was beautiful, spotless, and private. The breakfast was delicious every day.... More

The reviewer from Louisiana stayed at the Inn during the early weeks of foliage season. They’d never previously visited New England and quickly recognized, as is stated in their review, the that Glynn House is the perfect base for exploring New Hampshire. Our DVD library - 350 titles and continuously growing - was a hit with this couple as it... More

This was our 4th stay at the Glynn House Inn. It was great, as usual. It is run by a family for whom nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are wonderful and the breakfasts are phenomenal - both in quality and quantity. My wife and I come to central NH because the Glynn House Inn is there, not the... More

The reviewer has stayed at the Glynn House four times and plans another getaway autumn 2015. Guests don’t return, if they don’t have a first rate experience. One quote from the review is worth pondering = “My wife and I come to central NH because of the Glynn House Inn is there, not the reverse”. The reviewer’s Green Features comments... More

My wife and I spent an idyllic week at Glynn House during the second week of October at the height of fall colors and the height of Glenn and Pam's hospitality. Our room was quiet, cozy and warm on cool nights and we woke to tasty breakfasts that were more than satisfying (We were eating cereal at the end of... More

Guests who spend a full week at the Inn have multiple opportunities to assess the service, the food and the hospitality. The review title “ Idyllic retreat in New Hampshire”, really says everything that needs to be said. Foliage season colors truly are magnificent. Local restaurants that we recommend - there are 12 - all do a great job. Sightseeing... More

My wife found the Glynn House Inn on line. We were spending the weekend in Center Harbor and were looking for a Saturday night stay over. We were greeted, upon our arrival, by Glenn, The Innkeeper and welcomed with a thorough explanation of the inn and its' facilities. We were shown to our room, which was wonderfully appointed including a... More

Discerning guests from Connecticut book three more evenings before completing their initial one evening stay! We couldn’t ask for a better endorsement nor could other travelers reading this review. The reviewer stayed in our Monroe Deluxe Suite - lots of natural wood, fireplace, double whirlpool bath and elegant decor. The suite includes a door that leads directly to one of... More

Like all too many foliage season visitors, the reviewer from California expressed regret that more time hadn’t been allocated to their stay in New Hampshire’s spectacular White Mountains and Lakes Region. Guests routinely tell us how surprised they are by the variety of local activities. The generic seasonal activities available on our website provide suggested daytime activities for between five... Anniversaries are very special occasions. Celebrating 25 years together is particularly notable. Guests often select the Glynn House Inn for those ‘very’ special occasions because they want ‘everything’ to be just perfect. Our circa 1895 Victorian has been described by many guests as the perfect romantic hideaway. The Jefferson Deluxe Suite - situated on the top floor of our main... More

The Glynn House was like a home away from home. We were very fortunate to claim a room at the last minute. My son and I were visiting Holderness School. Parents visiting local private secondary schools - Holderness, New Hampton and Tilton - have used the Glynn House Inn as a base for years. Visit objectives include school assessments, sporting events, parent weekends and graduations. Parents rarely have much discretionary time available. But, they universally want clean and comfortable surroundings; delicious food and often some flexibility around breakfast hours; and... More
