Wow! This place is great! We used to stay at the Glynn House down the street, but never felt the owners and staff were very warm or friendly. Stayed at the Cheney House B&B in Ashland NH Oct. 10-13 and really loved it. The Victorian house is beautiful, and Bobbi & Anthony treat guests like royalty. I would recommend Cheney House to others and hope to go back next year. more

This was my first experience staying at a B&B. The Cheney House was wonderful and the setting beautiful. The owners were friendly, informative about the area, and accomodating. You cant go wrong staying here. more

We stayed there for one night as a quick getaway from our lives in Boston. The innkeepers were friendly and outgoing. If you're lucky, they will make you an egg cream! The room was clean and the bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was tasty and informal. This place is a very unpretentious, calm and relaxing retreat. more

Cheney House is a lovely old victorian B&B (circa 1895)with all the charm one would expect and remodeled with care to maintain the feeling. Private baths in each room--wood floors with rich carpeting--light airy rooms--very comfortable beds with nicely appointed linens --beautiful wood staircase and moldings--stained glass windows- and very clean.
