We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the at Highland Lake Inn. The creature comforts of accomodation and good food easily met with our approval. What impressed most though, were the endearing and lively personalities of the hosts, Gail and Pecco. Very professional, and the table conversations were always so interesting, with an added slice of humor. A wonderful vacation experience.... More

Thank you Pecco and Gail for a warm welcome and comfortable stay. We really felt at home from home, but with really well ironed sheets! Lovely beach and lake swimming, generous and informative hosts.

We arrived mid afternoon and were greeted with smiles and suggestions for activities around the area. But the view of the channel at Highland Lake made us abandon any thoughts of traveling around that afternoon. Instead we walked along the channel to the beach at the lake and spent a most enjoyable afternoon swimming and relaxing while enjoying the magnificent... More

Spent 3 nights at Pecco and Gail's so my husband could get some relaxation before and after participating in the Mooseman 70.3. Nothing was too much trouble. Several other guests were staying for the same event, and Pecco was up at 4.30a.m. on Sunday to serve breakfast for the athletes and their supporters. The area is beautiful, and Pecco offered... I had a fabulous room with a view of the lake. Pecco, Gail, Jeter,& Nikki, were very accomodating in so many ways; directions, plans, and where to go.It was like visiting a happy family. As well, the interaction with other guests, leaves one feeling as if we all knew each for some time. Beautifull kept and comfortable .

My wife an I just got back from spending the weekend at the Highland Lake Inn. The owners, Gail and Pecco were fantastic. They went above and beyond my expectations. They really make you feel at home. They offered their tips on where to go and what to see. Pecco even called a nearby maple sugar house for me and... More

The Highland Lake Inn is a wonderful B&B with all the comforts of home. It is so rare to find a place as comfortable and welcoming as this. I stayed here while skiing at nearby Ragged Mountain, and I would stay here again anytime! The owners, Pecco and Gail, were like long lost friends! They know and practice the fine... More

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at this B&B as part of a four-day biking tour during peak autumn leaves. Pecco, the owner, along with his wife and two dogs, were wonderful hosts. The inn was charming, every wall covered with paintings by Pecco's late father. The bedrooms were well furnished, with pressed sheets and Molton Brown... More

Despite the rather inclement weather during our stay, our welcome was warm and sunny. Our room was beautifully decorated and well appointed (and, yes, Pecco, the sheets were beautifully pressed!) Gail and Pecco obviously thoroughly enjoy meeting all the different people they have to stay at the Inn and go out of their way to make them feel welcome. Unfortunately,... More

We were greeted warmly by Pecco at the bus station and swiftly transported to the inn in a fine German automobile thus began our Granite State Vacations bike trip. We were so entertained that we laughed through our entire stay at the inn. Our breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all out of this world. The meals could have been featured... More
