My family has been staying at this inn for 8 summers. It is home away from home and we love it. The Beaufays are so special and are like family to us. Thank you again for a fabulous weekend in your lovely home! It's not summer without seeing you. They put their heart and soul into everything they do and... More

We go to B&Bs as often as possible. This Inn is truly unique! The host. Pecco, is a wealth of experience, wonderful life stories, and conversation. We have been to dozens of inns but this is the first I have truly felt at home. We had our choice of room. While my husband was at a scientific conference, I was... More

Judith, thank you so much for your nice comments. Guests like you are the reason why Gail and I love what we are doing. Every year, we are looking forward to the Summer months when many wonderful Gordon Research Conference guests are visiting with us. Looking forward to your return, Gail and Pecco More

We rode the Northern Rail Trail and had the pleasure of staying with Gayle and Pecco. They were very gracious hosts and the food was fantastic. We particularly enjoyed eating our meals with them and hearing their stories. We spent a lot of time laughing. It was a fantastic way to get away on a vacation.

This is the first time my wife and I have ever been drawn to writing a review on Tripadvisor. But – given wonderful hospitality of Gail and Pecco Beaufoys during our short stay riding the Northern Rail Trail in New Hampshire – we felt we must. Prior to our departure from Australia Pecco put together the perfect riding itinerary based... More

I called and spoke with Gail and made reservations for an upcoming weekend. It was extremely difficult to find a place to stay due to the holiday weekend. Three hours later, Pecco, the owner, called and informed me that his wife made a mistake and there is a two night minimum stay. Mind you, I explained that I have now... More

We arrived at Highland Lake Inn after riding bicycles 120miles in the rain. We were on a bicycle tour around New England and headed to Boston. The plan was to ride as far as we could and find a hotel when we got tired. At the 100mile point we started to get worried as we weren't seeing any signs civilization.... More

My boyfriend and I spent the three day Labor Day weekend in Andover at the Highland Lake Inn--it was one of our best vacations ever! We both like to bike and the Inn is extremely convenient to the Northern Rail Trail. As you can guess from its name, the Inn is also very close to Highland Lake where we were... More

I have stayed at the Highland Lake Inn in January for the first time and enjoyed my time there a lot. It is a charming bed and breakfast managed by the innkeeper Pecco and his wife Gail who make you feel welcome right away. Only 1.5 hours outside of Boston it is a great place to relax and do some... This was my second stay at Highland Lake Inn. And again it has been wonderful. The host Pecco and on the weekend with the help of his wife Gail prepared a wonderful breakfast according to our wishes. One day we decided for poached eggs. They were the best I ever had. The room was very comfortable. The location is great... More

Over the past 4 years, this great B&B has made all the difference in our trips to Andover, NH. After our first visit, we couldn't imagine staying anywhere else when we were in the area. Breakfast is great; beds are superb; Pecco and Gail are a delight to be with. Staying at The Highland Lake Inn is like being at... More
