We just returned from another memorable visit to the Highland Lake Inn. As always the inn was welcoming and oh! so comfortable. We always get the best night's sleep when we visit, nestled in the luxury of their bedding and enjoying the quiet of the country. This time the temperature was unseasonably warm and the innkeepers lead us on a... More

This is so much more than a Bed and Breakfast. Gail and Pecco are more like family than "Inn keepers." They have always taken great care of me. I think I am past my fourth stay at Highland, and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Great company, Great food. The rooms are tastefully done and comfortable. My son is at... More

In mid-October my wife, our parents-in-law and I had our happiest overnight stay since arriving in New England in the lovliest of all Bed-and-Breakfast houses we have experienced so far. The Highland Lake Inn combines a perfect array of stimulating - and soothing, factors. First, the house - the oldest one in the area and yet equipped, insulated and sound-proofed... More

We arrived expectating only a bed and a breakfast and got so much more! On a late arrival we were greeted by wonderful hosts Pecco and Gail and felt we had arrived to stay with family. We were too late for their dinner but were promptly assisted in finding a restaurant nearby and returned to find our bags had been... More

My wife and I have stayed at Highland Lake Inn B&B several times, and have consistently been impressed with the care taken by Pecco and Gail to see to the comfort and desires of their guests. The rooms are comfortable, and guests who wish to lounge in common areas have their choice of the dining room, the living room (with... More

The August 17, 2011 review entitled “Don’t be fooled!” is spot-on when it says, “the owners are better at the art of deception than running a bed & breakfast. What you see on the website is not what you find when you arrive.” My wife and I tried to stay at the Highland Lake Inn earlier this month, and our... More

We can only confirm the very good reviews of so many other travelers. The house and the rooms are cosy, the owners among the most hospitable and helpful we ever met and at the same time easy going. Pecco and Gail gave us so many tipWe felt like home, and like special guests at the same time. The lake nearby... More

We came with no expectations and were very satisfied with all the Inn had to offer. We were in the area to celebrate a wedding that was a four day event. It was so nice to return to peace and quiet in the very clean and homelike Highland room. I had to know were the sheets came from as they... More
