I have been a seasonal here since I was 3 and this place is a second home to me. Rich and Ann are the sweetest people. They are willing to help you out in any way they can. Most of the people that write bad reviews are the people that have caused a problems here. This is a great place... More

This place shouldn't be open. Stayed at cabin one nite. Smelled terrible old nasty furniture. No electric set up when we got there at night. The icing on the cake the coffee pot had old urine inside the glass pot. Good job cleaning and preparing it for guests. DONT GO HERE!!!.

There may not be a "playground" or much for kids to do but when I was young we used our "IMAGINATION" however people don't really let their kids do it they want something at a campground to babysit their kids so they can sit around and do nothing or drink. Try letting them use their imaginations maybe they will turn... More

We needed a place to stay close to Louden as we were doing the Richard Petty Driving Experience. Our daughter made reservations here, and so did we. I then looked at the reviews ( I know, a little backwards!). I was horrified and nervous. My husband called the campground and the woman was extremly nice, and said that it was... More

We stayed one night and like other reviewers said in the past. Stay away. Our one night stay eneded with the cops showing up because people are yelling and screaming obviously oblivated and on who knows what; chasing his so called girlfriend yelling you better run! Do not take your family here this is definitely not a family campground

29JUN2012 - I called and made a cabin reservation on a Thursday for the following Saturday. All I was told was they were going to “run my card for the one night stay", not a peep about any cancellation policy whatsoever. When circumstances quickly changed I had to call back and cancel, which was within 15 minutes of my original... More

You couldn't say it any better. If you want to relax this is the place to come. It's a little piece of heaven not far from the big cities. If you want to camp in the woods there is no better place the whole campground is full of trees with no big fields where other campgrounds use as tenting sites... More

Where do I even begin! First of the bathrooms were beyond nasty. The stench of urine overwhelms the senses upon entering. The beach is little more than a muddy landing about 15 feet wide with a mud wasp nest! If you do make past the wasps and mud, the river is brackish and feels like bathwater. The wooden float anchored... More
