My wife, son and I stayed one night on a Tuesday. We had not been here in 16 years. The rooms have been remodeled and are nicer than before. The hot pools are always relaxing. We ordered an omelet and an order of scrambled eggs to go on Wednesday morning at 7:30 am and waited 35 minutes for the order.... More

I was visiting here from out of town for a work conference and had never been to Montana before. I enjoyed my time at the Fairmont, but I don't know that I would call it a resort. My room was very loud. When the drunk colleges kids were out on their balcony, they may as well have been in my... More

Check in: The front desk clerk never looked up from her computer. Never asked for an ID. Said our room number out loud (with another guest easily within earshot at the other end of the desk). Told us where our room was, but no other information was given. She didn't even make friendly chit chat during our check in. We... More

We swam in the hot springs last week on the way home from a camping trip. The brochure/Montana travel magazine photos would lead you to believe this is a 4 or 5 star resort, when in fact it is very average, probably a 3. Not sure why they had soggy wet carpet in the indoor pool area. The pool was... More

Sadly, we have stayed here for the last four years, and we have started to see the hotel slowly fall apart. This trip, both pools (indoor & outdoor) had what felt like slime on the bottom, also my daughter pointed out a corner near the water slide, that had some sort of scum growing on it. Yes, it did storm... More

We had four families getting together for a 50th anniversary. Three of the rooms we booked were double or single bed, and then we booked one suite so that we would all have access to a kitchen. The singles were nice, each has a balcony. The suite was very nice, we enjoyed the used of the kitchen since we didn't... More

The staff was awesome! Our reunion was a wonderful success. Food was excellent - 40 years ago we had our Senior Reception here in 1974 and every reunion since--they continue to impress us and we have never been disappointed! Rooms were great - and everyone went above and beyond to help us put on a great event. Thank you! Betsy... More

With five pools fed by hot springs, slide, 3 restaurants, casino, gift shop, small petting zoo, and resort type atmosphere, Fairmont Hot Springs Resort would be a perfect place for a family reunion. This would be a place for a family who wants to stay on site and entertain themselves. Butte Montana is the closes city. This is a quiet... More

It was a great surprise to find the Fairmont resort updated on our recent stay. The rooms are spacious - as always - but now they are clean, modern and very nice. The staff at the front desk could not have been friendlier. We had a young girl who waited on us for breakfast and she was so helpful. She... More
