My adventurous man and I stayed here in 2012...apparently right before the place burned down. We were reminiscing about our stay while rafting the Alberton Gorge and were going to book a room at this fabulous B&B and found out it had burned down! I'm so sad that happened, it was a great place to stay in a really down... More

Four of us stayed here in June 2012 and the experience was great. Grace and Thom were super hosts and their B&B was amazing. We also loved their dogs Shadow and Hey Victor. We were stunned when a friend, from nearby Superior, emailed us yesterday and told us that it had sustained a really bad fire in the early hours... More

A friend and I stayed at Ghost Rails Inn in Sept. 2012. It is a lovely place, and the proprietors, Thom and Grace Garrett made us feel at home in spite of arriving right as they closed. The room was warm and comfortable. They accommodated our breakfast requests, played us old time records on their victrola, and we had a... More

A friend recommended I stay at the Ghost Rails Inn on my way across the country. I'm glad he did! The rooms are cozy, the decor is wonderfully Montana, and you will be treated to warm hospitality by the hosts, Grace and Thom, and greeted with love and smiles by their two adorable Golden Retrievers, Hey Victor and Shadow. The... More

On a recent trip to Idaho, we ended up at the Ghost Rails Inn for the evening and couldn't have been more comfortable in our surroundings! The owners, Thom and Grace, welcomed us and immediately made us feel right at home! We chose the "Bear Room" and found the bed to be like sleeping on a big cloud, very much... More

We spent four nights at the Ghost Rails Inn. Our hosts made us feel right at home. The breakfasts were excellent; the beds quite comfortable, and the conversation pleasant. Ask about the history of the inn - it is seriously interesting.

We stumbled onto the Ghost Rails on accident as we were driving across the country. The owners greeted us warmly (at 9pm!) and offered us a great tips on how best to travel through the region, including places to visit and avoid in MT, ND and SD. Though our stay was short, both of us felt very at home, as... More

We stopped here after a long hot day of driving cross-country. Grace and Thom welcomed us into their inn as if we were old friends. In addition to being gracious hosts, they gave us invaluable travel advice that helped us in our travels across North Dakota.

Who would guess that the small town of Alberton would be the location for a quaint and charming B&B offering comfortable and friendly lodging, a pleasant breakfast, and gracious hospitality! Just off the main highway 90 outside of Missoula, hosts Grace and Thom make every effort to accommodate guests and their requests. And be sure and check out those beautiful... More

We booked a two night stay at the Ghost rails Inn B & B in late May. We've never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast and weren't sure that we would like the breakfast, common area setup. Grace and Thom invited us into their home like we were old lifelong friends. The rooms were comfortable and themed tastefully. The smell... More
