I cannot say enough great things about our stay at the Applegate Inn! From the get-go, we ran into a friendly, helpful man in town that directed us to the bike shop, and that man was Bob. Bob and Lynn are two of the most welcoming people that I've ever encountered. We went to Augusta to celebrate my boyfriends birthday,... More

We were on the way to Chicago for a wedding and an article in Money Magazine "tipped" us off to Augusta wine district of Missouri. We spent just one night at the Apple Gate Inn and it was great. The owner was very inviting and friendly without being overly so. Went to next town over for dinner (Washington, Mo.) at... More

Loved it! We had the downstairs suite, large and well-decorated space for the price. Breakfast was excellent also. The owner was very friendly and inviting, without being intrusive. A plus: it's across the street from the brewery/bar along the Katy trail, so we could have a few drinks and walk back to the room. Great place for a day/night stopover... More

This place is truly perfect! Lynn couldn't be more hospitable! We stayed in Suite 2 and it was fabulous. We had a nice small sitting area and also a sauna in our bathroom. We were right off of the dining room which was perfect for sneaking a lemon cookie off the buffet at night:). Our friends stayed in Suite 3... More

My husband and I just returned from spending the weekend at the Apple Gate Inn and LOVED every minute of it. We celebrated our first wedding anniversary during our stay. We stayed in Suite # 2, and enjoyed the sauna in the room. I loved the separate entrance into the house, and patio entrance from the room. It made it... More

This is the first time that my husband and I have been to a B&B in MO and would LOVE to return! We stayed for two nights with Lynn at the Apple Gate Inn for our 5th anniversary. Our first night, we were the only guests. We stayed in suite 2, with the sauna, and loved it! It is right... More

Thank you Lynn and Bob for a great stay. Your B&B is very impressive. Anyone going to Augusta must stay here if only for Breakfast, couldn't eat all of it. Very clean and decorated nicely. Stayed in suite 2 it has a nice sauna.

I was quite lucky to have found Apple Gate Inn during my online hunt for a nice B&B in Augusta. By far, this is the most beautiful B&B on the outside, and the pictures you see online absolutely do not do the inside any justice. The entrance room for guest use feels like it's out of a storybook, filled with... More

My wife and I stayed here during the week, which is a very quiet time in Augusta. The B&B itself was very comfortable, yet had an amazing charm and elegance to it. Lynn, the owner, was amazing, accommodating and great to talk to. She's also an amazing cook as the breakfast the next morning was excellent! My wife is a... More

The Apple Gate Inn B&B is perfect. The hardest part is shoving your bike up the very steep hill from the Katy Trail, but once there, the inn is a wonderful reward. Our room, up the winding stairs, was large and gorgeous and comfortable. We had a jacuzzi, much appreciated after a very long difficult day on the trail. Lynn... More
