My wife and I stayed for 11 days in August , 2009. and we had a wonderful time. The Hotel is just as one would imagine in this part of Austria. The service and food was excellent; plenty of it and plenty of choice. Most of the staff speak English very well and are very pleasant. They can't do enough... more

Booked this hotel last minute with Thomson/Crystal Ski at my local Thomas Cook who matched the price on Internet ! I was apprehensive about the Bus ride to the slopes as i normally like to walk to the Local Gondala, but was pleasantly surprised by the 45 minute ride through a Snowclad valley route to the Postalm range on our first... more

We stayed over Christmas 2008 and I really loved this hotel. It was warm and cosy - like being in someone's house. The owners and bar staff were very friendly. The food was lovely and was buffet style but christmas dinner was no different to any other day. I thought it might have been a bit more special. Drinks were... more

Having just returned from a 2 week holiday from St Wolfgang I want to recommend the Forstehof as somewhere everyone should seriously consider going too. From the moment we arrived first impression is very good, pretty flowered garden, balconies hanging with flowers and on entering the foyer you are struck by the ecleptic arrangement of the decor (wonderful) and an... more

Hotel: The forsterhof was a very good family run hotel, the rooms were clean and the food was varied. The hotel is situated just out of St Wolfgang, it is an easy 5-10 min stroll into the town. Perfect for walking off your dinner or just taking in some fresh air! We stayed in room 210, the room had a... more

This hotel was booked as part of a package ski holiday from crystalski.co.uk The hotel is about a 10 min walk from the centre of St. Wolfgang, up a slight hill. The walk is no problem, and is worth being out of the main centre of the town. The rooms at the front of the hotel 104-106, 204-206, have panoramic... more

The bedroom was very large and nicely decorated and spotless, large balcony overlooking restaurant and gardens. The food was served by a large buffet with both British and Austrian selections and we... more
