My friends and I are out with her for the B&B in the priests house, the tour and the entire general experience. Once the word gets out about this place, you'll need to book a year ahead. From start to finish it is first class.

Our stay at Arcadia Academy was a delight. From the delicious (and sweet and perfect for any bread-lover) breakfasts shared with fascinating people, to the large, well-appointed and comfortable Cardinal room, to the grounds that included so much history (complete with a tour), our stay was very special. The friendly owners were helpful in every way. The connected restaurant is... More

I should start by saying the proprietors were not there during my stay, so your visit may be a different experience. The Academy is a fascinating place if you like historical buildings. I stayed in the Heart Room, which was beautiful and very clean. The food was excellent overall. The broccoli cheddar soup and the chicken fettuccine were my favorites.... More

We stayed at the B&B at Arcadia Academy for 2 nights this past weekend. We had a wonderful stay in the Bishop's Room. The room was comfortable, large, and kept cool. The bathroom is updated and the claw foot tub was a nice addition. We got to choose what time we had breakfast each day at check-in. Both days breakfast... More

If you have a sense of adventure and appreciation for the pristine beauty of the Missouri Ozarks--like Johnson's Shut-Ins and Elephant Rocks State Park--do not miss a trip to the Arcadia Academy. Once Civil War hospital and Ursaline girls' school, the story of this place is rich and the hospitality genuine. Their first-rate restaurant, ice cream parlor, bed and breakfast,... More

Definitely recommend staying here. Arcadia Academy is full of history and the rooms are beautiful and comfortable. They provide everything you need, just bring yourself. Breakfast is wonderful. Hiking in the area is awesome; be sure to visit the Johnson's shut ins and elephant rocks. Cathy and her husband are wonderful hosts, enjoyed talking with her. Can't wait to go... More

My wife and I started our honeymoon with a trip to Johnson's Shut-ins. I had originally found the Academy through the local Chamber of Commerce, and felt it was nice enough for a night before we headed down to Hot Springs for the bulk of our trip. What a waste! We should have planned for a second day! The staff... More
