Stayed here one night during a driving trip to the midwest. The hotel staff was friendly, the lobby area was clean and the rooms were solid Fairfield quality. The breakfast was plentiful (and the waffle station proved quite popular). My only complaint was that the dairy products in the small fridge were not cold--only slightly cool. I stayed away--and that... more

Stayed here during the Nascar Race. Room was clean and modern. Had 2 comfortable double beds, with extra pillows already provided. Very close to shopping, restaurants and the highway. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Free buffet breakfast was very good and had a wide range of options. Pool and hot tub area were clean and bright. The only downside... more

We decided to stay at the Fairfield Inn based on previous stays at this chain. What a mistake! To start at the beginning: 1. We tried to check in at 3:15, but were told our room was not ready despite the posted check-in time of 3:00. We left and came back at 3:50. STILL not ready. We waited a few... more

The room was brightly and cheerily decorated. The Bed was extremely comfortable with a lot of pillows. The room was clean as was the bathroom. The view we had in this room wasn't great (the roof of pool room), but we weren't there for the view. The rest of the rooms seemed to have a standard view. more

Read the review about the problem with the fitted sheets and didn’t understand, now I do, the sheet comes off and attacks you in the night! They need to work on that. We stayed for a few days and the second day they took the used soap and shampoo out of the shower but left no new ones. The pool... more

There will be few surprises if you stay at this motor hotel in Ann Arbor. It is located just off the interstate in an area filled with hotels and a parking lot will be your view. Chain restaurants and a shopping mall are within close driving distance. The rooms are small, clean , nicely furnished, with concrete ceilings and small... more

I've stayed at this hotel twice. It's a pretty good choice for Ann Arbor. The staff is friendly, the rooms comfortable and the continental breakfast buffet is a nice touch (especially the "make your own waffles"). The beds (newly improved mattresses) are comfortable, but during both stays the fitted sheets were too small for the beds and came off during... more

This is a nice clean place to stay. I liked the fact that they no longer have bedspreads, just a nice small quilt-like piece at the bottom of the bed. This is a very convenient location and close to restaurants and shopping. more

The check -in was quick and the desk personel courteous and helpful. The lobby was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is right off of I-94 and very convenient and close to restaurants, Briarwood Mall and the great U of M. Although the room was standard size, it was clean and the king sized bed very comfortable. We called housekeeping... more

I stayed for a night at the Fairfield and didn't understand the raves in other reviews. The staff was definitely more professional than at many higher-priced places I've stayed and the hotel was certainly clean; but the walls were thin (my neighbor's TV had me reaching for my ear plugs), and the room was just adequate. I think it's probably... more
