Despite the passage of time, I am still upset by our family's experience with this hotel. The main problem was the lunch for 80 people for a special family event that was held at the hotel. The room was beautiful and the planning with the staff had been really good. The food however was really terrible and completely inedible. The... more

Very nice and better than expected. I was there on busines at the U of Michigan. - Free wireless connection in rooms - Very nice decor within rooms - I had a business room and the decor reminded me of a B&B - Bathrooms a bit on the small side - I was on the 14th floor and had a... more

This is probably the best hotel in central Ann Arbor. A large tower block on E.Huron with a great position for both the town and the University of Michigan. Pity about the architecture, but if you are inside, you don't see it! Easy parking right next to the hotel(a real plus in AA) and very helpful desk staff. The rooms... more

I was in Ann Arbor this past weeker to see the Dalai Lama at Crisler Arena. The Campus Inn was a very great suprise. I wanted to stay downtown within walking distance of Kerrytown, but generally prefer chain hotels to unknown properties. I am glad I took a chance on the Campus Inn as it has been awhile since I... more

I'm not sure what to say about the Campus Inn. It was...well, just okay. I got a great deal on the room, so I didn't pay the usual high prices. If I had, my disappointment would be much more tangible. The good: -decent places to eat nearby -pretty nice rooms -right by central campus -free bus to North campus The... more

I have stayed at this hotel many times - the biggest reason is location. It is very convenient if you are visiting the University - it's close to central campus and not far from north campus. My issues with this hotel are multiple... First, I think it is certainly overpriced. The shower/bathtub is very, and I mean very small -... more

I've stayed at the Campus Inn a lot. It was a disappointment to find out at check in that the exercise room was under construction and the alternative was a University facility far across campus. But at least they are doing some updating. The hotel needs it Food and room service were better but could still be better. And still... more

Our Food and Beverage goal for 2008 is to exceed all expectations and I welcome any suggestions to help us achieve that mission. Complimentary wireless internet is available in the restaurant, lobby, meeting rooms and our penthouse and business rooms. Complimentary hard wire ethernet access is available in all guest rooms. I attended a one-week course of UM so I booked Campus inn. It's luxurious and fancy with old-style European atmosphere. I thought I was in Prague in the every morning. The staff were friendly and the housekeeping was perfect. Here's some picture taken by DSLR. I was very suprised and grateful that even after I checked out, the staff still... more

I read the reviews before booking this hotel. As a result, I booked the top floor (premium price) and requested a room facing the back. We had no noise problems whatsoever, and it probably was overkill. Perhaps it is noisier when the University is in session. The city didn't seem very noisy for a city while we were there. This... more

The Campus Inn is located very close to campus so staying there is very efficient. However, this past stay at the Campus Inn, my ipod was stolen from my room. Beware of this problem when you are staying there. more

We are pleased that the guest liked our location and that her stay was efficient. We did receive a report of a lost I-Pod; the guest was part of a large party staying at the hotel for a wedding. She asked us to check several rooms, unfortunately we were unable to locate the item and the two I-Pods that are in...
