Best aspect is the location. It is an easy walk to downtown Ann Arbor. The hotel is showing some age, but is in good repair and clean. Staff was very friendly, efficient and helpful. Biggest drawback is paper thin walls. Lots of noise carries from hall and adjacent rooms. I spent little time at the hotel and did not sample... More

great location - walking distance to most restaurants, specialty grocery, CVS, theatre, museums, etc. clean and comfortable place and courteous staff I liked food from both restaurants as well. My main complaint is its wireless - they do provide complimentary wireless - many of them. The problem was that a lot of times none of them was reliable, which was... More

Stayed for 5 nights for a work related program through the U of M. My room looked like it had recently been re-decorated. It was very nice, but best of all was the bed. Great mattress, pillows and duvet! I was very impressed with the help I received at 10pm from their computer person to help me get my lap... More

We had a great stay at the Campus Inn. I agree with the previous reviews that some updating needs to be done, but this a classy place. Probably more suited for a little older crowd. The location is great only a short walk to State Street and U of M campus. The hotel has some neat traditions. Please walk around... More

My son and I stayed here while he did a college visit. The location is perfect. We walked everywhere: restaurants, campus life, and the admissions session were all right there. We had a great view of State Street from room 702. The room was very clean and, while the decor was fitting for the older building, it all felt fresh... More

The staff were all very friendly and really helpful, and the room and facilities were all lovely. I was attending a UGM and the provided food was delicious with plenty of choice. It is well-situated for walking to the centre of Ann Arbor and close to the Amtrak station.

Enjoyed another great stay at the Campus Inn. The location alone is reason enough to stay there but it also delivers in the other important categories - comfort, food and service. The front desk staff is terrific and the dining room serves a great breakfast, which I looked forward to every morning. Be sure to request one of Gloria's tables... More

We stayed here for a football weekend. I have not been here in many years. It was a bit dated then. Now the place screams for a renovation. It still appears to be clean. New TV's, but who cares? The bathroom looks like it is from the 70's. Still, there are reasons to stay here. The location is fantastic for... More

This hotel's main draw is its prime location right next to the University of Michigan campus. The service was good and the rooms were fine. The decor is somewhat dated, however. Not a huge issue, but the rooms could definitely use some updating. The shower caulk was a little bit mildewy and I found a hair in the tub. The... More

The Campus Inn scores on location (it's at the hear of the U Mich AA campus). The rooms are spacious and clean (though the furniture and fittings look their age i.e. mid 90s). The beds were comfortable, the hotel quiet and the staff (mostly UMich students) eager and friendly. You can walk to a number of bars and restuarants. The... More
