Everything is perfect about this hotel except the bathrooms. They are WAY too small for a hotel of this character and haven't been modernized to keep up with the competition. Also, the weekend we happened to visit, one of the two elevators was not operational for 3 days! As you can imagine, going to and from the 11th floor was... More

Water in shower came out brown at first Paper trash not removed from room when I returned to room in evening When I had to change rooms I left my bag at the front desk and asked them to put it in my room when it was ready. They said yes, but it was not done when I returned in... More

I stayed in Ann Arbor with a small group, and I didn't want to drive. That leaves 2 hotels -- count'em. (1) Campus Inn, (2) Bell Tower. All done. I remember what my econ 101 teacher taught me about duopolies -- high prices, poor quality -- and it seems to apply here. I can’t imagine why there aren't a couple... More

I recently spent a night at the Dahlmann Campus Inn while visiting my daughter at the University of Michigan. The room was really nice and quite comfortable. It was very clean and had a wonderful "herbal tea" aroma. I had a room facing the main street and the outside noise was minimal. The bed was quite comfortable. The staff was... More

My teenage daughter and I stayed here on a recent trip to Ann Arbor. The hotel staff was all very helpful, the room was clean, and the location is excellent. My only tip is that if you are a coffee lover make sure you book a room with the coffee service/pot in the room - this was just an oversight... More

The best aspect of this hotel as noted in several reviews is its location within walking distance of both campus and the main entertainment/restaurant district of Ann Arbor. However, that close proximity and lack of competition has resulted in Dahlmann Properties not having to update or invest in the hotel in 30 years. While the hotel is well maintained and... More

Thank you very much for your feedback. I am happy to report that we are currently undertaking major updates to our guest room decor. Improvements include fresh, modern drapery and new feather and down duvets, as well as the addition of comfortable rocking chairs. We are also currently equipping additional rooms with modern coffee stations and refrigerators. As you point... More

Recently stayed here for one night on a visit to the University of Michigan. The location is ideal, allowing one to walk easily to most placed. No complaints whatsoever about the room - it had all the common amenities. I've stayed here before, and would again if I were to visit Ann Arbor again. If I don't give it five... More

Stayed in Campus Inn on a business trip. The name of the hotel represents the atmosphere. Relaxing, nice and clean. Not a luxury hotel but a very very descent one, very clean and well kept. Had all I needed. The center is just across the street, breakfast is good, staff is helpful. I'll defenitely stay bere again.

We stayed at the Campus Inn with our son during our visit to U Mich and were happy that we did. We selected it because we wanted to be as close to the university as possible (it is directly across the street). For those of you who have never visited Ann Arbor, parking and traffic around the university can be... More

I stayed at the Campus Inn for a night while visiting my son at the university. The hotel's location is perfect - walking distance to the main Diag of the campus (about 2 blocks away), the South University neighborhood (where my son lives) and State Street and Main Street where most restaurants and shopping is located. The hotel is easy... More
