Rudest front desk I have ever dealt with. Simple request and the lady looked at me and brushed off the request. Will never go back. Everything else was average. Sorry, but you do not get what you pay for with this hotel.

Stayed here three nights while in town on business. Usually we stay at the Sheraton across the street, but it was full. Gotta say, Kensington Court is nowhere near as nice. To be fair, my room was adequate and service was friendly. But the hotel is showing its age - a bit rough around the edges. We stayed in the... More

We stayed there as part of a football weekend, and predictably paid a significantly inflated price. To add insult to the pocketbook injury the entire experience at the property was well below any reasonable standard. The front desk staff at check-in and check-out were, at best, perfunctory, bordering on rude. It was apparent they just didn't care about providing customer... More

I agree with prior comments about not being anywhere close to luxury. I came for a wedding and we had the room block there. If I would of known how not luxury it was I would of gone accross the street to another hotel.Secondly the hotel lost power Friday night. I do work in the hotel industry so I have... More

This hotel claims to be luxury but it is far from that! The rooms are very small, outdated and not very clean at all. I'm still trying to figure out what it is about this place that they think is "luxurious". I've stayed in budget hotels that were cleaner and far roomier! The beds were merely double beds rather than... More

I was officiating a wedding at the Student Union (10 minutes away) and this was a great campus location that was not too close to the campus. The rooms are modest and the executive wing is a nice enhancement to the reservation. Traveling with an infant having a separate place to go after he goes to bed, where the monitor... More

I recently stayed at Kensington Court for a conference. The hotel bills itself as "luxury", but we found merely serviceable accommodations. We were given a gift bag when we checked in, thinking it must be for the conference. When we got to the room, we found that it was actually a gift bag to somebody's wedding and had been given... We stayed here a few years back for orientation (and a great introductory rate), and again a few months ago for graduation (high room rate this time -- go figure, all the hotels in the area sell out). This hotel is is in a great location for visiting the University of Michign. Our stay for graduation went very smoothly. Easy... More

We recently stayed here for UofM orientation. Breakfast/location/decor was all fine - nothing special but adequate. Bottom line is I went home with a leg covered in bites. I let the front desk know about this and received minimal response. I would never stay here again or recommend this hotel. The reason being the actual fleas as well as the... More

Dirty, expensive, cramped, dated. These are just a few of the words I could use to describe my experience with the Kensington Court. Don't let the fancy name fool you. I reserved a room here with the orientation discount. Based on the photos I thought it was nice and the price was good. Foolish me, I didn't check trip advisor... More
