Booked a handicap room for family member in wheelchair. When we arrived we were told there was no handicap room available. Manager said was hotel was overbooked so there was nothing they could do. They also tried to charge more for room than our reservation confirmation showed. (they said prices went up since we booked so we had to pay... More

Stayed here for a conference recently, and I was overall very impressed. The rooms were very nice, the beds were very comfortable and the staff were all very helpful. It is situated right near a mall, which was very useful for essentials when the airline lost our bags. The pool is average, the sauna was missing a bucket, and has to... More

I booked my night at the Kensington via Priceline. It was listed as 3 out of 4 stars and I have never regretted booking a 3-star via PL. Until now. Don't let the nice, clean lobby fool you. This dated hotel is not worth the money, even at a Daily Deal rate. It's entirely possible there are super nice rooms... More

We stayed for two nights in the executive area where breakfast and evening wine hour were provided every day in a small lounge. The wine hour was a nice touch but please do not expect anything fancy. Breakfast was the usual cold cereal, muffins, coffee and orange juice. The hotel is an old building with very low ceilings and narrow... More

Friendly place, good, cozy bar with decent restaurant with reliable traditional food at reasonable prices. Rooms need updating though and they desperately need to provide better towels. i have complained about this many times since i have stayed here often and they have never replaced worn, thin towels. Very good location if you are visiting U Mich.

Booked a standard room here through hotwire for $144, which came out to about $175 after the fees were added. Unfortunately, which sites like hotwire and priceline, you don't know which hotel you're going to end up with. I have no idea why this price was supposed to be a deal for this hotel or why is got a 90%... More

Rudest front desk I have ever dealt with. Simple request and the lady looked at me and brushed off the request. Will never go back. Everything else was average. Sorry, but you do not get what you pay for with this hotel.

Stayed here three nights while in town on business. Usually we stay at the Sheraton across the street, but it was full. Gotta say, Kensington Court is nowhere near as nice. To be fair, my room was adequate and service was friendly. But the hotel is showing its age - a bit rough around the edges. We stayed in the... More

We stayed there as part of a football weekend, and predictably paid a significantly inflated price. To add insult to the pocketbook injury the entire experience at the property was well below any reasonable standard. The front desk staff at check-in and check-out were, at best, perfunctory, bordering on rude. It was apparent they just didn't care about providing customer... More

I agree with prior comments about not being anywhere close to luxury. I came for a wedding and we had the room block there. If I would of known how not luxury it was I would of gone accross the street to another hotel.Secondly the hotel lost power Friday night. I do work in the hotel industry so I have... More
