We stayed for one night. After reading reviews, I was afraid to try it. Our room was large - totally redone with new bedding and carpet - nice. I was pleasantly surprised. Room included a small refrigerator. Heating and cooling in room was good - digital temperature display on unit. Breakfast in the morning was nice including fresh made waffles... more

I must say this stay was on of the highlights of our US road trip. Stepping into to the hotel is like opening a time capsule. The place looks like it might have been a fancy hotel 35 years ago, but everything is run down and the place is a mess. Walking around the place felt a bit like visiting... more

This property is so bad that it is laughable. There is an overall "unaired-out odor" and debris at several entrances. I was attracted by the description of the fitness center at this facility as described on the Internet. When I went there for a workout, I found the none of the mechanized machines were working and that the exercise bicycle... more

We did a last minute booking after abandoning a planned stay at the Motel 6 in Jackson. The front desk staff were extremely pleasant, our room was clean, the wireless access worked well and the continental breakfast in the morning was perfectly adequate. We were at the back side of the hotel facing the highway so it was a bit... more

This was a disgrace. A dog was barking all night and I couldn't sleep a wink. When I checked online later I found out that BW has a no-pet policy? Whats with the dog? The hotel is dated with a ton of problems starting with stains on the corridor carpeting and big holes in the corridor walls. The pool area was... more

This hotel should not be on anyones list of where to stay. Check in was the usual. Lobby smelled like chlorine! Hallways like chlroine. Room was musty smelling, air conditioner was only a fan. No cooling at all, said they would check on it. 2 small pillows on a King size bed! After taking a shower i was standing in... more

Needs help. Chlorine odor very strong from indoor pool. Didn't have the room we reserved due to renovations in process. They did take one nights cost off the bill which was appreciated. Very dated. more

Bleak. Looks like a warehouse from the outside. At first glance, the lobby seemed spacious and airy and the check-in process was fine. Wandering through the huge lobby area to find my room I was struck by the fact that there wasn't another living soul in the place. Seems they were smarter than I. The room was a jacuzzi "suite".... more

I was hoping for the best when my business colleague booked a night at the Best Western on our recent business meeting in Ann Arbor. What a disappointment. This hotel obviously remains in business due to the presence of the Univ. of Mich. and out of town visitors during football weekends. Don't pay more than $80 for this place. Obviously,... more

We stayed at the BW for 5 nights in late July. There are several wings to this motel. The one we stayed in faced South (Jackson Avenue). The hallway was not ventilated or air conditioned, and it got very very hot. The motel laundry was in that section also, and that added more heat/humidity to that wing. We had the... more
