We can't say any more than this: this is the best bed-and-breakfast we have ever stayed in. Sarah is wonderful, the inn itself is wonderfully decorated, warm, cozy, with a real open feel, and yet still giving you the privacy of your own beautifully decorated bedroom. Great location, wonderful food, just an all-around great place to stay. Highest possible rating.

I was in Ann Arbor to visit my daughter and for work. This is such a lovely home in a great location with a charming, interesting owner, Sarah. I had the downstairs bedroom, which has french doors to the yard (I didn't use them because it was November and very cold). The room and bed are comfortable. Sarah provides robes... More

The Burnt Toast Inn is a terrific place to stay in Ann Arbor within easy walking distance of the stores and restaurants on Main Street and the UMich campus. I highly recommend the roomy "Master Suite" with an impressive en suite bathroom (complete with Jacuzzi tub). The Purple room is a tad small, but adequate as a second room if... More

This place was fantastic. The house is cozy and well decorated. The kitchen is enormous and the food was delicious. I stayed in the Attic and the room was well-kept and comfortable. I recommend it for a romantic stay. The bathroom is private and the shower is spacious with two showerheads (for more efficient showering, of course). The Inn is... More

This B&B was all we could have hoped for. Sarah, the owner, is very friendly and gave us some great tips about places to visit in Ann Arbor. The house is clean and colorful, with beautifully eclectic decor, a garden with a waterfall, and a casual atmosphere. There's a big dog to pet, Bo. The location is a short walk... More

We recently stayed in "The Attic" during a visit to the Ann Arbor Art Fair. Very clean & roomy. The newer private bath was large with a beautiful double shower. Upon returning from a day at the fair & finding the air conditioning not working, we contacted the owner, who had it running in less than 15 minutes. Great service!... More

Location, location, location! Unless you want to pay a fortune to stay at the Campus Inn, this is one of the only places to stay where you can walk to campus/downtown--and it does NOT cost a fortune! We stayed in the gold room, pictured in travelers' pictures, which was clean although a bit tight for 2 of us, especially on... More

Our plans changed and we did not end up staying at this B&B, however I am writing because I wanted to book a room only available for two nights for one, well in advance. Sarah emailed me back within 10 minutes willing to work with us to make the stay possible. What GREAT customer service. While we won't be traveling... More

Sarah the host reminded me so much of my grandma, that I just melted when I met her. Not overbearing, she made the experience lovely. Her first breakfast was to die for - smoked salmon scrambled eggs and homemade pancakes made in front of us, along with all sorts of sides (homemade granola, fruit, coffee, juices). The second was more... More

What a warm, welcoming, comfortable place to stay. Sarah makes you feel completely at home, her breakfasts are delicious and her coffee rocks! Great room, comfortable bed (and I am a good mattress junkie), well equipped bath and great shower pressure with abundant hot water. Great location for visiting U Mich.
