My wife and I spent a long week-end at the Burnt Toast Inn in Ann Arbor, MI. This B & B is a gem! We were greeted by the Innkeeper, Sarah, and her welcoming committee, Bo and Buddy, and instantly made to feel welcome. Our room the Master Suite, was well appointed and very clean. Sarah thought of everything that... More

We have stayed at the Burnt Toast five times so far while visiting our daughter at UMich. We have found both the Williams house and Washington House incredibly comfortable and Sarah is a terrific host. She thinks of every detail and has everything readily available in or near the rooms such as shampoos, soaps, extra washcloths, pod style coffee makers,... More

I thought the Inn was clean and the rooms were warm enough at nite. Sarah was very friendly and easy to talk to. I love Buddy and Bo a lot. More

Staying at the Burnt Toast Inn was great. It is a blend of funky and elegant, with a warm, relaxed host and 2 great dogs which made it a very comfortable place to stay. The location is ideal--walking distance to anywhere I wanted to go in AA. The purple room worked well for me. It has a beautiful bathroom right... More

Stayed there with friends, got married in the backyard, reception outdoors all at Washington house. Sarah was great to work with coordinating our party from out of town. EZ walk downtown. Would do it all over again. More

The Burnt Toast Inn is a quick and enjoyable walk to downtown Ann Arbor and UM. We found Sarah to be a very gracious host. The inn is fun and a bit quirky. Our room, and our bathroom, was very clean. We love big dogs, so thoroughly enjoyed our stay. However, if you do not like dogs, this is not... More

Six members of our family stayed at this great b&b for a long weekend. My nephew was marrying a local woman. We enjoyed the convenient location, the beautifully redone house, the tasty breakfasts and coffee, and of course the lovely hospitality of the innkeeper Sarah. Highly recommended by all 6 of my family. More

We had such a lovely visit to the Burnt Toast Inn - Sarah, the Innkeeper, has a special gift for hospitality - she makes you feel completely welcome, and cared for, in every detail. Breakfast was amazing (think: homemade waffles, thick cut bacon, eggs, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, juice), the house is beautiful, well appointed, comfortable. We will definitely be... More

My husband and I stayed at the Burnt Toast Inn over the Law School's graduation weekend and it was terrific. The Master Suite was gorgeous and roomy with modern amenities in a historic setting. Incredible bathroom with a soaking tub, separate shower, and two sinks. Breakfast was perfect for us with delicious breads and jam, eggs, and fruit. We had... More

I was visiting Ann Arbor for a law-school reception, and needed a place to sleep for one night. I found the Burnt Toast Inn online, and found its location to be convenient and prices reasonable. I was extremely satisfied with the quality of the inn and the service I received: - The owner was flexible with the time I could... More
