We had a wonderful getaway weekend in Ann Arbor, which was further accentuated by a great stay at The Burnt Toast Inn. Sarah and her family were very hospitable and made sure they understood our likes and dislikes. We stayed in the master suite, and enjoyed the beautiful room and absolutely gorgeous bathroom (including a newer very deep tub). The... More

Just an excellent B&B in my opinion. Sarah and her family create a relaxed atmosphere and were extremely helpful with our special requests. The decor is beautiful and unique. The B&B is in a great location for everything downtown, and the breakfasts were healthy and varied.

There are so many reasons to visit Ann Arbor and The Burnt Toast Inn tops the list. Why? Because it sets the perfect context for experiencing one of America’s most appealing small cities. This whimsically named bed and breakfast is located on a quiet street, just a few minutes walk from the heart of downtown (and with the delightful Argus... More

The location of this B and B is prefect its right near the downtown main street area of ann arbor making restaurants and music venues very accessible. Sarah and her daughter were very helpful and the room was very nice. The house is filled with art and very comfortable.

Letting you all know how great it is to stay at "The Burnt Toast Inn" is long overdue, because I've been staying there while visiting family in Ann Arbor since 2010! I love the whole house, inside and out! It feels so good to be there because of the aesthetic balance of beautiful-old and spirited-artistic! Not only is the entire... More

Full disclosure: I am a B&B owner as well. I can't think of a single negative. Our stay at the Burnt Toast(who can resist that name?) was memorable and so exceeded our expectations. We arrived around 7 pm (having communicated with Sarah that our arrival time would be a bit delayed) and were greeted like family. We were shown to... More

Valerie and John,,, It was a wonderful pleasure meeting the two of you. It was too short a visit, one night but I am so happy that you both had such a good time and I hope to come to Montaque to visit with you. Praise from a fellow Bed and Breakfast owner is praise indeed!! After going online and... More

We can't say any more than this: this is the best bed-and-breakfast we have ever stayed in. Sarah is wonderful, the inn itself is wonderfully decorated, warm, cozy, with a real open feel, and yet still giving you the privacy of your own beautifully decorated bedroom. Great location, wonderful food, just an all-around great place to stay. Highest possible rating.

I was in Ann Arbor to visit my daughter and for work. This is such a lovely home in a great location with a charming, interesting owner, Sarah. I had the downstairs bedroom, which has french doors to the yard (I didn't use them because it was November and very cold). The room and bed are comfortable. Sarah provides robes... More

The Burnt Toast Inn is a terrific place to stay in Ann Arbor within easy walking distance of the stores and restaurants on Main Street and the UMich campus. I highly recommend the roomy "Master Suite" with an impressive en suite bathroom (complete with Jacuzzi tub). The Purple room is a tad small, but adequate as a second room if... More

This place was fantastic. The house is cozy and well decorated. The kitchen is enormous and the food was delicious. I stayed in the Attic and the room was well-kept and comfortable. I recommend it for a romantic stay. The bathroom is private and the shower is spacious with two showerheads (for more efficient showering, of course). The Inn is... More
