Like I said, "WOW." After staying at a Motel 6 the night before, I could not believe the difference. Who ever is running this business, both the chain and the property, knows what they're doing. Clean, extremely well-designed, and great amenities, at a very good price. The location could be better, but I'm not about to complain. I've been following... more

I appreciated the value this hotel provided; a decent room for less than $60 per night with free telephone long distance, wireless, and a serve-yourself breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. The mattress, however, felt as lumpy as a dorm room couch. When I mentioned this to the front desk clerk, she apologized and said that new ones were... more

Excellent location and value with clean, quiet, comfortable rooms. There are several dining options nearby with easy access to Highway 23, the University of Michgan, downtown and Kerrytown. I've stayed at this Microtel 3 times in 2008 for two to four nights each stay and every stay was excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. The bed is very comfortable.... more

My family had an enjoyable stay at the Ann Arbor Microtel over a 3-day period. We paid $65/one-bed, and $75/two-bed rooms. The hotel is very clean with European style decor. My daughter liked to sit in the box seat by window. My wife and I were surprised that the coffee was excellent. RECOMMENDATIONS: 1) If you are sensitive to smoke... more

I am a travel agent in San Francisco and took my son to Ann Arbor to look at the University. Of course we try to save money, so I picked this hotel. I was very pleasantly surprised. For the price, they are clean, the beds are great, you get free internet, long distance and a continental breakfast. I found the... more

After spending an exhausting day at the hospital with our daughter, we returned to the Microtel around 11 PM to find a party going on in our hallway. I immediately called the front desk to complain, since we were going straight to bed. At midnight, they finally got the kids to move into their room, which was right next door.... more

The Microtel in Ann Arbor was a great hotel for the price - $55 for one person for one night. This was my first experience with Microtel and I was pleasantly surprised. Staff was friendly and efficient and the entire hotel, including the room, was clean and new. The room was much more attractively decorated than I expected; it was... more

The Microtel is an excellent deal if you need a clean, cheap place to stay in Ann Arbor. They have a free shuttle which will pick you up and drop you off in town, free wireless and free calls to North America from your room phone. I didn't find it noisy at all...I highly recommend it. more

Stayed here on a recent trip to a Michigan football game. Ended up in this hotel as we were bumped from another hotel. This is a money play. Accomodations are fine and what you would expect for the price. Staff were friendly and helpful. Contenential Breakfast is light on the offering. If this fits your profile it will work fine.... more
