i had booked the room months in advance, at a rate less than $200 per night, for the two nights , Friday and Saturday. Only after actually driving away did I see that i was charged two separate amounts, with Saturday cost amounting to nearly $100 more than Friday This is appalling , contrary to prices that I had been... Warm, helpful staff, great location, comfortable room (loved the easy chair foot stool), and the continental breakfast at Eve's was way beyond my expectations. Would definitely return and and definitely recommend it to others.

Very nice inn-like, cozy hotel. Nicely maintained. Would have wished for roomier space in the queen room and a bed that was actually a queen, not a double, with 4 pillows (for 2 people), not 3. Step up into the bathroom is a bit of a hazard. NY Times every day is a nice touch. Very conveniently located to excellent... More

We stayed at this hotel right across from Hill Auditorium, home of the Ann Arbor Folk Festival. In nasty weather it is best to have a short walk. Friendly and warm place. Only complaint I have is with Ann Arbor in general, they roll up the sidewalks early. So if you get out late (after 10pm) from a concert, limited... More

Loved this hotel. Very cozy, wonderful staff, fantastic restaurant, comfortable and attractive room. The restaurant, Eve, was especially notable. A delightful surprise find. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Great stay.

We came in very late one evening from Detroit airport on a quick visit to the University of Michigan. Very warm, cozy place more like an inn than a hotel. Parked in the lot next door got the key and we were in the room in 15 minutes. Slept great, had breakfast in the morning downstairs and left for our... More

The Bell Tower is quaint but a little out-dated. The attached restaurant was closed on Monday and thus we had to walk elsewhere in really cold temperatures. My room had a step-up bathroom which was quite dangerous, especially in the middle of the night. My TV remote was not operational.

We are in the process of completing three mock up bedrooms for an upcoming redecoration project. While I am saying that, we are also in the middle to renovating the fourth floor guest hallway. Besides the hall and guest room redecoration/renovation projects, we have recently added all new bathrooms and new art work to all of our guest hallways and... More

I have stayed here about 8 times in the last 3 years visiting my son. I always feel comfortable (and I am picky) and come for that and the location. Only glitch was second night the clerk gave me a hard time about me not parking my car at 12:30am, and I was always told hotel would take care of... More

Our in house restaurant hosts our continental breakfast now and is doing a great job with fresh and unique food. Sorry that our valet service was not available during the night. We have an attendant on between the hours of 7:00AM to 11:00PM. We usually can handle any requests during other times if they are brought to our attention though.... More

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here for our wedding night! The room was small but still charming and friendly- although not a nice view. (We would've opted for a larger room but we had a very brief stay.) Beautiful hotel interior. Nice view of the campus, including the MLB (where my father used to teach). Friendly, courteous and... The Bell Tower never fails to delight, from the friendliness of the people to the ambiance to the comfort of the room to the complimentary breakfast. Our favorite place to stay. Recommend without reservation (but would recommend reservations)!
