We stayed here two nights. We were on a bike trip. What a lovely experience! The room was great! The breakfast was very good. They allow you to pick your breakfast time, that was nice!! Jon & Linda are great hosts! We are going back in September with friends! We would highly recommend this B&B!

8 of us rode our bikes to Alma and stayed at Saravilla. Jon and Linda were exceptionally hospitable to us and served all of our needs. They allowed us to put our tandem bikes in their garage, and accommodated my wife's special need for breakfast! The rooms are spacious and well cared for and each room has it's own bath.... More

Saravilla B&B is in an 1890's historic home that has been lovingly restored and renovated into a charming Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The main level of the house has meeting rooms and games rooms. Linda and Jon are wonderful hosts, attentive to your every need. This is a perfect place for a getaway in Alma.

A lovely, historic B & B. Linda and John are gracious and very accommodating. Linda makes a wonderful breakfast also. John knows a lot of Alma and local history which makes very pleasant breakfast conversation.

We had a great time at the Saravilla this weekend. The innkeepers were very, very nice and gave us a wonderful tour of the house and it's history. The house is BIG, really big, and nicely furnished in an eclectic mix of antiques. There are beautiful touches all over this house. The woodwork is phenomenal and the original wallpaper, radiators... I've stayed at a few b&b's before, but this by far was my best experience. Building was obviously beautiful, but the hospitality was warm and inviting. Didn't have that "don't touch that" museum feel that some b&b's have. Gave a nice tour when we first checked in, and continued to check with us throughout our stay to make sure we... More

Our family was in Alma for my Dad's 90th birthday. Although I grew up in Alma we had not stayed at Saravilla before. The place was terrific. Great home, accomodations and Jon is quite the Alma history buff. We would recommend this home to anyone visiting Alma. There is nothing else like it in Gratiot county. I've stayed at B&B's... More

Incredible home and the perfect get-away. Linda & Jon are wonderful, friendly, helpful innkeepers (and great cooks!). The place was spotless, every detail was perfect, rooms large and very comfortable. Many special extras provided. The big front porch and rocking chairs rounded out the experience. A must do again!!

Absolutely Beautiful - an 1890's three story mansion built by a lumber baron and now the Saravilla Bed and Breakfast. Upon arrival Jon met us at the door and helped carry some of our luggage (very favorable impression) and gave us a tour of the home. Both Jon and his wife Linda were friendly, gracious and most accommodating. Our room... More

In the Alma Michigan area, this is the only place to stay. Very comfortable and charming, but casual (does not feel stuffy like some B&B's). Linda and Jon are very gracious and helpful. I would recommend this B&B to anyone staying in the area.
