Stayed here for Final Four weekend in April.Short drive to downtown Detroit and very close to Ford attractions.Friendly staff and nice breakfast. It is right off highway but did not notice any road noise. All in all not a bad value for the price. more

We originally booked a two night stay here based on the favorable reviews, but ended up checking out after the first night. The property is bordered by an interstate; a garage storage unit, and the hotel's parking lot. Don't expect nice views. The lobby had some mannequins evidently dressed to like Henry Ford and friends. Candidly, they were kinda creepy;... more

We chose this Holiday Inn Express because of its location and availability of tickets to the Greenfield Village's Halloween Pumpkin walk (a new favorite holiday tradition). The location was perfect, but the hotel itself was very disappointing. You usually know exactly what you are getting with a HIExpress hotel, but not this one. All king rooms have a king-sized 4-poster... more

We just returned from our stay in Dearborn for the Old Car Festival at Greenfield Village. We checked in early. The Staff were very friendly and accomodating. We wanted a first floor room with a view of the parking lot to keep an eye on our old car. The fireplace in our room was considered seasonal but they were willing... more

Many problems with this one, would not recommend it. We made the reservation online, received a confirmation number and then when checking-in were told that our credit card was rejected during our online reservation. We no longer qualified for the advance purchase rate and had to pay more than expected. The same credit card we used for the online reservation... more

I was a little concerned about the reviews I read regarding the traffic noise at this hotel, but I was right near the highway and didn't hear a thing all night. The hotel and the room were absolutely beautiful. We stayed in a jacuzzi suite with the jacuzzi in the bathroom but we could open up a mirrored blind to... more

I stayed at this hotel on a trip to the Henry Ford Museum. I just need some place close to the museum to stay overnight. What I got was a room that sounded like I was sleeping on the shoulder of the interstate that is in front of the hotel. What made it worse was there was no way to... more

We travel to Detroit area 4-6 times a year. Even though there are other hotels closer to downtown (casinos & theater) we always stay at the Allen Park Holiday Inn Express. The rooms are nice, rates are reasonable and the staff is great. more

Two miles away from The Henry Ford and across the freeway from a new area of shopping is pretty good location-wise. With breakfast included and a nice looking building, we booked this property at just under $100 with realistic expectations and came away satisfied. Average-sized room, clean beds and bathroom, mini-fridge and DVD player included, free WiFi, and a nice... more
