The most framing word for this hotel is exceptional. In any possible way it is stylish, interesting and with good service and perfect location. Stayed there for 2 nights with my wife and was blown away by its charm. I have travelled all over the world, and this hotel is with no doubt in the absolute highest end.

I totaly enjoyed my stay. AASANA people at the airport took us to a hotel that turned out to be a dump. We asked about the best hotel in town and they said "Parador Santa Maria". They were right. We stayed 2 nights and it is a great hotel. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was good.

Very pleasant stay with great service. We were only here two nights, but enjoyed ourselves. The staff was helpful and friendly at all times. Beautiful hotel, in a good location. We would gladly stay here again.

This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in, rather it be in the USA or the other 50 countries we have visited. The rooms are exquisite, the service excellent and owner very friendly. The owner has remodeled this privately owned manor and has included their privately owned collection of artifacts. As for location, it is only a block... More

This Hotel was built on a 18th century manor house that was the Palace of the Royal Audience of Charcas during the time of the Spanish colonies. Although equipped with all the modern conveniences of a luxurious hotel, it offers to its guests all the charms of the original structure, unique sumptuous furnishings and art, as well as breathtaking views... Our first visit was fabulous, our second visit, a disaster -- though the service was not quite 5-stars, the first time, it was enough to bring us back a second time despite the fact that a nearby 4-star offered rooms for half the price at an equally old restored home. We wanted the same level of attention, however, but were shocked... More

Not only is this hotel blessed with its beauty and location, it probably has the most charming and dedicating owner and manager Luis Rodriguez, that I have encountered in a number of years. His hands on approach and attention to detail to restore this fine old lady was breath taking. It was the best hotel we stayed in, in Bolivia.... More

We stayed twice at the Parador Santa Maria la Real in November. What a nice hotel. The first time I stayed in a room on the ground floor and that I did not like that much as I had no view from my room. On my second stay I had a room on the 2nd floor with a beautiful view... More

As the title captures it all, I do need to say that the conversion of a colonial spatial home was magnificently done. One walks in and feels he is in a museum. Then to find out that it does have a true museum of the history of the building and era. The dueño don Luis Pedro Rodríguez was so kind... More
