Pretty but not really worth the high price in our opinion. Welcome was a bit snooty. Tiny boxy room. But nice bed and spacious bathroom. Terrace nice with places to sit. Breakfast very good. Good central location. But Better value elsewhere .

It was my birthday so we decided to spend a bit more for the night. Although this is quite a nice hotel and I'd be happy to stay there again, I'm just not sure that it was worth paying that much for. The staff here are very nice, friendly and helpful, and they allowed us to check in hours before... More

Great choice in lovely Sucre. Staff were extremely helpful. Quaint hotel built around a colonial courtyard. Fabulous views from roof terrace. Just a couple of blocks from main square. Would gladly use again.

The Hostal de su Merced is a lovely hotel with courteous helpful staff and a wonderful ambience. Our room was very nice, roomy, clean, and just off an attractive courtyard. There is an observation deck on the roof that provides a wonderful panoramic view of Sucre that we found delightful. They serve a delicious buffet breakfast with additional hot items... More

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The rooms are beautifully decorated and cleaned every day. The staff are helpful and will provide guests with everything you need. The hotel is close to the centre so easy to walk everywhere from here. It has a fantastic roof terrace with lots of little areas where you can enjoy coffee or... More

We really enjoyed our stay as the location is great & the staff very helpful. Our room was spacious & got had plenty of light. The building itself is a beautiful old colonial home & they have put in soundproofing for the windows facing the street (although you can hear your neighbours sometimes). I would stay there again.

Terrific hotel located in the plain centre of Sucre. Lovely antique, colonial decor, rooms spacious and well set out. Staff go out of their way to help you and are always cheerful. Great breakfast. Have only good things to say about this place. A must-stay while in this gorgeous Bolivian city.

We stayed for four days in December 2014. Could have stayed a month! Great location- The hotel is a few blocks from downtown (very short walk with tons of restaurants and coffee shops on the way) so it was more quiet than the hotels on the main square. Very romantic place, with a rooftop boasting fantastic views. We spent New... More

Revisited here after two years and it is still top of the line with friendly staff, great breakfast, good location, cleanliness. Top rooms with views are best - try to get one. Breakfast is huge and cooked fresh every morning.
