We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The rooms are beautifully decorated and cleaned every day. The staff are helpful and will provide guests with everything you need. The hotel is close to the centre so easy to walk everywhere from here. It has a fantastic roof terrace with lots of little areas where you can enjoy coffee or... More

We really enjoyed our stay as the location is great & the staff very helpful. Our room was spacious & got had plenty of light. The building itself is a beautiful old colonial home & they have put in soundproofing for the windows facing the street (although you can hear your neighbours sometimes). I would stay there again.

Terrific hotel located in the plain centre of Sucre. Lovely antique, colonial decor, rooms spacious and well set out. Staff go out of their way to help you and are always cheerful. Great breakfast. Have only good things to say about this place. A must-stay while in this gorgeous Bolivian city.

We stayed for four days in December 2014. Could have stayed a month! Great location- The hotel is a few blocks from downtown (very short walk with tons of restaurants and coffee shops on the way) so it was more quiet than the hotels on the main square. Very romantic place, with a rooftop boasting fantastic views. We spent New... More

Revisited here after two years and it is still top of the line with friendly staff, great breakfast, good location, cleanliness. Top rooms with views are best - try to get one. Breakfast is huge and cooked fresh every morning.

We came to Sucre after having done a Salt Flats tour from San Pedro de Atacama through to Uyuni, and what a lovely hotel to spend a few days in. We got one of the highest rooms in the hotel (thank goodness one of the staff carried our bags up the stairs!), and it had lovely views out to the... More

I stayed here for a week while studying Spanish. It's a small hotel, with about 20 rooms (I believe). I was in awe at how pretty it is. There are several patios, including rooftop, which puts you at the same level as the church spires nearby. Wifi was good, and everyone there was very nice. One of the prettiest hotels... More

Hostal de su Merced is located a few blocks from the main square and many restaurant options are nearby. I've been there in December 2013 for a few days. My employer booked a room for me on the second patio. Great view over the rooftops of Sucre! Beautiful patio! I suppose Hostal de Su Merced must be really successful because they know how to connect an extravagant-colonial style (including my room) with a warm and familiar atmosphere. The staff... More

Warm and welcoming staff in what is a very attractive hotel with its internal courtyard, climbing roses, roof terrace etc. The food was good, although one beef and sausage dish served as a lunch to my group was horrible and made a few of us ill. This is the only blip. Comfortable, spacious rooms, good breakfasts, a good luadry service.... More
