Hotel & interior looks Nice but that does not make up for the incredibly rude Staff at reception. Dont understand the other reviews. Told at check in that breakfast was between 7-10. Second morning we were there at 7.05 as we needed to be in time for a tour. No breakfast. That evening we asked if it was possible the... More

The history and beauty of this place is a fabulous combination. And the staff is extremely professional and helpful. I have found my new favorite hotel in Sucre. . . perhaps in all of Bolivia!!! I did not want to leave.

I booked for 2 nights but ended up staying for 5. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Several spoke excellent English. They put me in touch with an excellent, English speaking tour guide who organised several trips for me as well as taking me on a walking city tour. They were very helpful about keeping me informed when... More

Stayed here for two nights on a trip to Bolivia. The hotel is lovely, very picturesque and well decorated. The rooms are a good size with a nice bathroom area. There is good wifi throughout the hotel too, some of the best I have experienced whilst travelling around South America. The staff were friendly and helpful and whilst we only... More

Great location, just near the main square, this was an excellent hotel. Lovely furniture in the room, friendly english speaking staff, great rooftop terrace, would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was good, although it seemed a little quiet when we were here. Very reasonably priced!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very friendly and responsive when feeling a tad under the weather. The place has a lot of history and is full of character. Just a couple of blocks from the main square, hard to be better positioned. fantastic views from the upper balcony terraces while enjoying a beer. great memories.

We stayed here for 3 days and I honestly have to say it is the nicest place we have been in Bolivia. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the rooms beautiful. The view from the roof is amazing. We truly couldn't have chosen a more wonderful place.

More of a hotel, Hostal de Su Merced is located in a wonderful part of the city, close to everything. In addition, everyone was extremely helpful (including storing my bags, letting me check in early, getting me a taxi to a restaurant). The best part was the view at sunset from the roof. You can also have a drink brought... More

I had to relax because of altitude sickness. This was the best place to do it. Staff, wi-fi, breakfest, room and outdoor space; all was top. Beautiful and relaxing place in centrum of Sucre. Not expensive compared to similar hotels of same standards. Great stay! I can only recommend
