This place is incredible! It's always spotless, and full of very chill friendly people. The kitchen is fully stocked with any possible cookware you could want, and a lot of times there are some free goodies left in the cupboard. Mike is an awesome host, super funny and great to talk to. The place is located really close to the... More

As Uyuni was closed as a result of blockades we ended up staying here for 4 nights in 3 different rooms (as we kept checking out in the hope buses were running). This hostel has good beds, hot showers and a nice vibe. The location is perfect, a short walk from everything you need - groceries, restaurants, bars and culture.... More

An outstandingly clean and happy hostal run by an enthusiastic gentleman who is passionate about what he does and helpful in every way. The hottest most powerful showers in Bolivia, along with lovely warm bedrooms and personalities alike. Friendly conversations with like minded travellers in the day and a peaceful sleep at night. Definitely one of the best hostels we've... More

The hostal is in a great location just 2 blocks from the main square. The rooms are only dorms but the hostal is impeccable and a perfect combination of social and laid back atmosphere. Like most people my stay in the Gringos was supposed to be 2 nights but ended up being 4 because of the great vibe. Highly Recommended!!

This is a great hostel in the heart of beautiful Sucre with an excellent host, beautiful terrace and comfortable, clean rooms. We were supposed to only stay 1 night but ended up staying 3! The owner is great fun, keeps you informed about events and keeps the hostel cruisy and comfortable. The location is great, just 3 blocks from Plaza... More

I loved my stay at the Gringo's Rincon, and everyone I met there stayed longer than they had initially planned. The owner Mike is a real character and the hostel is his baby. He has it cleaned daily and he'll do your laundry for only 10 bolivianos! The showers are nice and hot. The building is beautiful with two big... More

We booked in for 3 days and ended up staying for 9! Brilliant hostel with a great atmosphere complemented by the owner Mike who is a legend. He never stops except when it is 'pub night'. Even then you will see him up cleaning way before anyone else rises. The kitchen is very good as well with plenty of equipment.

I loved my stay here, the owner is a fantastic guy. He goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable and offers great advice. The hostel itself is a beautiful building with spacious rooms and an amazing rooftop patio for sunbathing, socialising and doing spanish homework! The pictures on hostel booking websites really don't do this place... More

The place lived up to the good reviews - big bunk beds, spacious rooms and hot showers. It is kept impeccably clean with new bed sheets and hand towels daily. Kitchen is small but efficient with all new utensils. Also the rooftop is nice for chilling/sunbathing/meeting other backpackers! A big issue however is there are no lockers. Doesn't feel very... Over the 6 nights that we stayed at Gringos Rincon our experience was thoroughly enjoyable. From the second we arrived the owner Mike made us feel right at home- when we got there and our room wasn't what we reserved, he made sure to accommodate us and put us in a great room the following day. Pros: The hostel is... More
