What an absolutely lovely place! My wife and I visited for our first anniversary. As soon as we stepped into the lobby, the few sounds from the street faded away. The service was excellent--all the receptionists and bellhops (is that still a term?) were incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful. When we off-handedly asked if they'd seen a sweater I'd misplaced,... More

This hotel is a fantastic and unexpected oasis from the city streets that surround it. Beautiful courtyard and a village feel inside. Staff are caring and helpful to a person, and breakfast is superb, with great views out over town from the lofty perch of the breakfast room. Just steps from the historic center, but quiet and safe. I'd love... More

We`d been travelling for six month already. Started in CR, Panama, Colombia, Peru and Bolivia. After backpacking for such a long time we thought that it would be a great idea to spend some more money for a good hotel. We expected a nice place but that Hotel was just way over our expectations. For that little money that much.... More

Oh, to sleep perchance to dream!!! Mi Pueblo Samary was a wonderful boutique hotel that was a breath of fresh air. The hotel staff was incredibly accommodating with my food allergies and the manager of the property even stopped by my room to double check what I could eat! The place is darling and the rooms were comfortable, modern and... More

The city of Sucre is already such a refreshing getaway within Bolivia, so if you have a chance to pamper yourself while visiting, why not try Mi Pueblo Samary? We actually stayed a total of two times, once as a couple and once with a baby, and enjoyed the location and quaint surroundings of the hotel both times. However, the... More

The location is in the old centre close to the main plaza. The hotel and inside court yard are beautiful. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and keen on remembering your room number. They bake their own bread for breakfast, which is nice. The smoke in the morning in your room is less nice though. Same goes... More

As a luxury travel writer for World-Adventurer.com, I visited other boutique in Bolivia and was curious to see how this one compared. I was not disappointed. What sets this hotel apart is the location, property and very helpful service. A block away from the main square in Sucre, you can't ask for a more central location. The property is beautiful,... Stay here if your travels take you to Sucre. I cannot be more positive about this hotel than to highly recommend it to everyone. The hotel is located in a former Spanish Colonial mansion; rooms have touches of Andean style; service is impeccable, including a cooked-to-order breakfast. Located just three blocks from the heart of the city, the hotel has... More

We didn't want to leave this lovely hotel in Sucre. It was the nicest hotel we have stayed in South America and excellent value for money. Great breakfast, double bed each in a twin with feather duvet! Great views over the city and very friendly staff.

Amazing, beautiful little hotel just a few blocks up from the main plaza in Sucre. Joanna, the sweet, charming receptionist, checked me in upon arrival and gave me a map of the city of Sucre with lots of helpful hints and circled highlights. I was only there for one night, but the place was an oasis of calm and quiet,... More
