Like many we had found the Casa Verde next door, and found it much too expensive. So we tried Santa Cecilia, and were very happy with it. We stayed for seven nights, and had two rooms (a twin, and a matrimonial). Rooms: Both were very clean, spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The matrimonial had an en suite with... More

I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights while I was studying Spanish and liked the experience. The hotel is located on the same property as the owner's home which is very nice. Staying in this hotel is like visiting in a stately home. The rooms are very comfortable and much better than one would expect for the low price.... More

We walked over to Santa Cecelia when Casa Verde next door had no rooms available (it was a bit pricey for us too). The lady of the house let us in and was super nice and helpful. Only the downstairs room (2 twins with ensuite) was available at the time so we took it, but the next day we moved... More

very quiet hostel with a few rooms on calle Potosi. 5 min to walk to the plaza principal. good kitchen, internet. Very open and kind owners! the price for single with shared bathroom is 70 boliviano. Если нужен хостел в Сукре, этот хостел тихий, рядом с центром - 5 мин, есть кухня и интернет, стоит около 70 боливиано за сингл.

Santa Cecilia is in a good location with comfortable, clean rooms, nice courtyard and big kitchen for guests to use. What makes it really special is the owners, who are the most welcoming, friendly hosts I've come across in four months of travelling. WiFi is a bit dodgy but apart from that would definitely recommend staying here.

We have just spent the last 2 nights at this B&B. What a wonderful experience we had. Soon after arriving, Claudia the owner came to find us to show us all the things to do in the city, and was more than happy to help us with anything we needed. The room was big and spotlessly clean (we booked a... More

We stayed in this hostel for 2 nights. We payed 140 BOB for 2 persons per night. The room was big and the beds where comfortable. The owners where so nice to us, they helped us with busses and taxis because there where problems with the ways. They explained things about the city. We really felt home. Lovely people!

A friend and I arrived here early in the morning after an overnight bus ride from Uyuni. Despite the 4am arrival we were welcomed and let into the room which was great to be able to catch up on sleep and later have a hot shower, although the shower did take a while to drain one day The twin room... Hostal Santa Cecilia is three blocks from the historical center of 25 de Mayo Plaza.  Located right next door to the popular Casa Verde.  Very very good value. I concur with most of the nice comments about the hostal and folks running the place.  Planned for 4 nights -- wound up with 11 nights. The better features of the hostal... More

We stayed here after finding this place was listed on Wikitravel and was pleasantly surprised in how lovely the whole placed was kept. We were going to initially stay for 2-3 nights, but decided to sign up to a local language school (Sucre Spanish School) 2 blocks away from the B&B and ended up staying almost 6 weeks. We were...
