I logged on to hostel world and booked a night here and specified we would be arriving at 11pm. We arrived around 11/11:30 at night and I knocked on the door to a man opening the door and rudely asking us if we had a reservation. He stood halfway in the door as to not let us in until I... More

It was a kind of weird experience. You need to leave your passport if you want to use cutlery or plates, everything was locked in the kitchen, you have a feeling you are not welcomed here... The place itself is just average, you will not hate it, you will not fall in love. The place serves the worst breakfast we... More

Goodlooking, well heated, with roof terrace and poor kitchen (you have to pay for renting cooking gear jajaja, it is the first "backpackers'hostel I see something like that). Double room was really nice although unfinished, simple, with wooden furniture. Bed was great, breakfast ok as well. It is a pity but they are definitely not making use of the place's... More

For a cheap price I got a double room with a shared bathroom. The bathroom was the only issue in that there were 2 showers and 2 toilets for the whole of the shared accommodation. The toilets weren't cleaned very often and showers weren't warm. Breakfast was very basic. Location is central and near restaurants and attractions. They also offer... More

It was okay. The building was really nice. The rooms and common areas were very cold. Set of washrooms at the front were being renovated while we were there so they weren't always available. Tried to take a shower bit hot water ran out. Breakfast was okay....pretty average for what you get in Bolivian hostels. Locations was good.

We struggled to find decent accommodation in Potosi but I think Casa Blanca is a good bet. We stayed in their Tarija hostel which was great. You should not be allowed to rent rooms such as the one in this hostel. We were given a twin room rather than a dorm but it was damp, cold and mouldy with cables... More

Beautiful building the hostel occupies is robably the biggest advantage. The place is OK for a budget traveler but there are no fireworks. Everything is average, from rooms to breakfast to commodities. Location ok - pretty central.

The beds are as hard as stone and the room is terribly cold. Staff refused to turn on the central heating for the rooms or common areas, TV Room & small dining room. Decided to sleep in my sleeping bag as the room was so cold. WI-FI is bad, pretty much useless. They charge for you to use items in... More

I booked a bed in a dorm room but once there I asked for a private room so I could be more relaxed in my first days of over 4000m altitude. The private room with shared bathroom was 80b which I paid. Next morning they asked me for 8b more because I had booked a bed in the dorm, for... More

This was not good. we arrived from uyuni at night because the agency recommended it. I don't mind the paint being off the wall but when you are 4200 mts above sea level, all you want is a warm and cosy room. We did not get that. It was humid and cold! there are not many options in potosi, but... More
