stayed for a week with my family. Since I was forewarned about the noise from the disco, I asked specifically for a room on the higher floors and facing away from the main street. If you want to sleep at night, avoid this hotel! There is a dance club located on the ground floor of this hotel, and you can literally "feel" the rhythm of techno music on your bed until dusk. There are two hotels owned by this group, the Ascot and the Royal Ascot. I stayed at the Royal, the Ascot is supposed to be dire. Pretty average, attention to detail is lacking. This Hotel was brilliant, good location, spacious rooms, tastefully decorated, friendly staff, very clean, nice rooftop pool and chill-out bar. the only down side was that the meals and drinks were expensive. Having said that, we would certainly stay there again as it was a very enjoyable experience more
