Al Qasr at Madinat Jumeirah is really, really nice. The hotel is lovely and the decor makes you very aware that you are in Dubai. I stayed five days for work... The Pros: 1. Hilariously overdone, like most of tourist Dubai. Don't go there if you want in anyway an authentic, gritty experience. But if you want to sit around like a first world raj-baron by the side of the pool and smoke hookahs, get into it.
