Location is close to Dubai Museum, Al Fahidi Street, Bur Dubai. 600 meter far from Al Fahidi metro station. It is located in highly concentrated Indian community. The room was dirty, we have asked them to clean the bathroom, it was disgusting. The safety box did not work, they sent someone to fix but no luck, battery low, code does... More

I booked this hotel for one night during my short stop over in Dubai after a recommendation from a colleague of mine. The location is good - many restaurants and shops nearby. Dubai Museum is 5mins walk and Metro station is about 10mins walk. It takes about 15 - 20 mins to get to the Dubai Mall station by Metro.... More

Good: Great location in Bur Dubai. Big, comfortable rooms, whatever type you choose. Decent breakfast included. (Some) friendly staff. Bad: Poor maintenance, e.g. broken shower and fridge container fittings and nothing done about them until I insisted. Unhelpfulness of some staff, e.g. when my bathroom ceiling fell in late at night (really!) I had to very strongly insist on a... More

I stayed one night in Dubai Nova Hotel and found it a clean and good budget place. 5 minutes walking from bus and metro station, the room was big, fresh and clean. Easy and efective! Nice included breakfast by the morning. Also friendly staff and good atmosphere, in a mix of indian families, european, muslim people.

This hotel is a good deal, but you get what you pay for. 1st thing, there is no parking. If you rent a car you will most likely be advised to park in the city parking lot a block away. It's close, but its awfully crowded where there is usually people waiting. Unfortunately, this parking lot got us two parking... More

Position in old quarter fantastic,i min to the museum 3 mins to the water. This area is relaxing and as free from over the top sky scrapers and shopping malls as anywhere you could find here. Instead you can walk along the riverfront stop for food /drinks and watch the river traffic, explore historic home museums ,take the underground pedestrian... More

Staying in The Creek

Neighborhood Profile
The Creek
The smell of frankincense hangs thick and heavy in the air, waves lap gently at jetties, and market traders call to passing tourists. The creek, originally the place where pearl boats docked and left on missions to uncover jewels from the deep, is where the city really began. The Al Fahidi District on the Creekside is one of the oldest heritage sites in Dubai, easily recognizable with its iconic wind towers, the original air conditioning. Home to the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding and the Dubai Museum, the old buildings also house a range of cafes, shops and art galleries. Often called “the real Dubai,” this is a wonderful place to lose yourself before catching an abra across the creek to the spice souk, where your senses will be overwhelmed with tastes, smells, and sounds.
