This is my second stay at the hotel & I was left disappointed after this visit. We booked and paid for 2 deluxe creek rooms and were checked into 2 standard creek rooms. If you have paid for deluxe (@ AUD$100/night more) being assigned standard rooms is just not acceptable. Despite complaining to the front desk we spent our first... More

On the Creek. Fascinating to see the local people going about their work of loading the dhows that travel all through the Gulf delivering every conceivable thing. Hotel clean and obliging. Some rooms have great views so request a river view if you can. Someone from the hotel met us at the airport and they could not have been more... More

Very pleased with stay. Wonderful helpful front desk staff-- even charged my phone when my charger stopped working. Surprised at the quality and choice of foods at breakfast buffet. Wifi included in rooms and in public areas-contrary to some listings which wrongly list it as requiring a surcharge. Very close to public transportation - metro, Abras and according to Red... More

Stunning view, especially at night with all the lights. Walking distance from souks and markets. Enjoy all the activities and the very old boats offloading goods. Streetfood was good. Very hot during the day, busses and taxi available. Room was clean and had a airconditioner. You can visit all the tourist sites from this hotel without any hassle.

The Riviera overlooks the Dubai Creek in the Deira part of Dubai. It's off the beaten track for tourists, but only 10 minutes from the airport. Well-appointed room with a balcony overlooking the creek. Friendly and helpful staff especially Mr Umair.

Great little hotel with lovely views of the Dubai Creek. The staff were friendly and helpful and the free daily shuttle bus to the Al-Mamzar beach was great! Rooms were spacious and clean and a small selection of complimentary toiletries were provided. The two things that let it down were 1) the lack of furniture on the balcony so despite... More

I'd stayed at this hotel more than a couple years back. I was happy to return and was not disappointed by my choice. True the hotel does not have the latest and trendy look or feel to it, but it is comfortable, quiet and well located. The rooms are clean, spacious, the air conditioning works quietly and well plus the... More

We were only at the Hotel for one night in early February and found it to be more than acceptable without the fancy trimming that many Dubai hotels are famous for. Turning up very early and well before normal check in times our luggage was looked after and a room found for us a couple of hours later. We chose... More

If you want a hotel near Dubai Creek and the Souk, the Riviera is quite good for the money -considering the high hotel prices in Dubai. It must be one of the smallest hotels in Dubai. My room was clean with a comfortable bed and a small balcony. The overall service was also good, and breakfast was adequate.Nothing fancy with... More
