Staff over here are very bad. Hotel is having swimming pool but they charge extra over there. No respect for Indians. All drivers use to flirt with resepction lady in front of all. Verry terrible room service. Space in loby is very less. Breakfast over here is soo soo bad. Had done booking for 6nights but cancelled just in 3nights.... More

We stayed there for two nights and the moment i checked in into that place, i immediately felt that i made the wrong choice.Front office staffs were quite cold and not polite at times. The room was so small, everything looks old and not properly cleaned. Stains are there almost everywhere and a weird smell in the room. Even in... More

Hotel is near by shopping area, Meena Bazar & Museum and Bur Dubai Area, but inside is lousy. Old property OR badly used but not sufficiently maintained, and remains crowded. Breakfast ok. rooms ok. just at the bottom level of three star category.

Around 10 Years ago, Admiral Plaza hotel was our first hotel in Dubai when we travelled for business as a group. That time it was a grand Hotel. But today it has changed alot, means no upgrades, no renovations observed and it should not be categorized into any stars. Its ok for short stays. Last year we stayed there as... More

We had booked a family trip for 7 members and spent 3 nights in this hotel. The hotel location was very good as it is near a market place. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet had sufficient variety and a there were many eating joints and shops within walking distance from the hotel.

I have never stayed at a most disgusting hotel in all my life, I arrived with my 3 kids and was given a room with 3 single beds and was told that it was a cock up by my travel agent and that there is nothing they could do, so four of us were forced to sleep in a room... More

Staying in The Creek

Neighborhood Profile
The Creek
The smell of frankincense hangs thick and heavy in the air, waves lap gently at jetties, and market traders call to passing tourists. The creek, originally the place where pearl boats docked and left on missions to uncover jewels from the deep, is where the city really began. The Al Fahidi District on the Creekside is one of the oldest heritage sites in Dubai, easily recognizable with its iconic wind towers, the original air conditioning. Home to the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding and the Dubai Museum, the old buildings also house a range of cafes, shops and art galleries. Often called “the real Dubai,” this is a wonderful place to lose yourself before catching an abra across the creek to the spice souk, where your senses will be overwhelmed with tastes, smells, and sounds.
