Me and my family friends booked this hotel through some local agent Arabianlink. On the first arrival date the receptionist try to cheat us by demanding money while chk.in as saying you have to pay AED 200 for gov.tax. As we have booking through agent everything was included I told ; then the matter was solved. On our first breakfast... More

An average Hotel in the center of town but enough for short stay, quite good hotel for families on tour, businessmen etc. Very friendly front desk… helpful other staffs around though the rooms were bit small. Reasonable Breakfast… Good restaurant and services.

The smell in the hotel was very obvious, for me anyway and only got worse in our room especially when we turned on the air conditioner. The room was good and the air conditioner did work very well but everything looked old and in needed of an update. The hotel staff we friendly and helpful but I'm afraid I would... More

I wish I could start with anything good about this hotel. An old property with stinking rooms, rude staff, bad food and the list goes on. Don't take the breakfast inclusive package because you will have to anyways pay for breakfast outside (because breakfast is not edible, unless you like tea and toast for breakfast). Bed in the room are... More

Good hotel with lot of eateries around. Metro Station @ 10 mins walk. Hotel provided complimentary airport pick up and drop, breakfast and free wi fi in room and lobby area too. I enjoyed my 3 nights stay out here. Dubai Museum/ River side all @ 10-12 mins walking distance. If you are travelling alone and want to save money than... More

We stayed there for two nights and the moment i checked in into that place, i immediately felt that i made the wrong choice.Front office staffs were quite cold and not polite at times. The room was so small, everything looks old and not properly cleaned. Stains are there almost everywhere and a weird smell in the room. Even in... More

Hotel is near by shopping area, Meena Bazar & Museum and Bur Dubai Area, but inside is lousy. Old property OR badly used but not sufficiently maintained, and remains crowded. Breakfast ok. rooms ok. just at the bottom level of three star category.

Around 10 Years ago, Admiral Plaza hotel was our first hotel in Dubai when we travelled for business as a group. That time it was a grand Hotel. But today it has changed alot, means no upgrades, no renovations observed and it should not be categorized into any stars. Its ok for short stays. Last year we stayed there as... More

Staying in The Creek

Neighborhood Profile
The Creek
The smell of frankincense hangs thick and heavy in the air, waves lap gently at jetties, and market traders call to passing tourists. The creek, originally the place where pearl boats docked and left on missions to uncover jewels from the deep, is where the city really began. The Al Fahidi District on the Creekside is one of the oldest heritage sites in Dubai, easily recognizable with its iconic wind towers, the original air conditioning. Home to the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding and the Dubai Museum, the old buildings also house a range of cafes, shops and art galleries. Often called “the real Dubai,” this is a wonderful place to lose yourself before catching an abra across the creek to the spice souk, where your senses will be overwhelmed with tastes, smells, and sounds.
