Took my children to use the hotel facilities after spotting an offer for ladies at 110AED which you recoup in food and beverage vouchers. Under 5s are free too. The pool is a good size and although it was busy, we were able to find a couple of sun loungers close to it. There is a separate, covered splash pool... More

My partner and I visited Dubai and wanted to stay somewhere special for a few nights. After reviewing tripadvisor and where to stay, we booked 2 x nights at the Sheraton. We picked this hotel as it was at Jumeirah Beach Residence, the grounds seemed spacious and private and the hotel seem to offer luxury. Firstly, the hotel staff provided... More

We were trying to make this a mid ranged price holiday. We picked Sheraton Jumeirha beach because we wanted a hotel with a nice pool, plenty of sun beds and on a beach. On late arrival we were offered a 'special' offer for upgrade to Club Room and breakfast and club room facilities. We were so tired we accepted it.... More

Terrific hotel. All staff were smiling and helpful. Just the right size: restaurants, bars, room, swimming pool and beach all within minutes of each other. Contrary to other reviewers I thought the furniture was fine. Food and drink pricey, but it is an expensive destination. I recommend visitors join their Sheraton club to get discounts in hotel. Exploit happy hour... More

Once again what a great place and to be remembered and welcomed by the staff that looked after us last year. Its the people and friendleness that make the Sheraton such an enjoyble place to relax. The lounge up stairs where one can relax and have a lovelly glass of quality red wine and served at the correct room temperature.... More

The hotel was fine. It felt like every other sheraton you've been at. You could have been in New Jersey so didn't feel very much like what I expected in Dubai. It's a bit dated inside But had a nice breakfast. The best feature is its location to the beach. The wifi was TERRIBLE. Or should I say nonexistent in... More

It's on a splendid location with beach and on the JBR with lots of shops in a walking area. During cooler months you can actually walk around. Service is fast, good gym and also a squash court. Furniture and other stuff is asking for replacement.

Spent a lovely week at the Sheraton. Great view from the room (249) overlooking the sea towards the Palm. Lovely gardens and beach area. Hotel clean and all the staff were excellent. Despite the roadworks etc in the area, great location. The Walk is superb, the beach brilliant and only 10mins walk to Dubai Marina. Metro is also only 10mins... More

We spent about 3 nights at this Hotel. Overall the room service is excellent Staff are friendly, our kids loved the swimming pool. However, the furniture needs to have a serious look it looks like they haven't changed it from the opening days. The location of the hotel is good in my opinion overlooking the sea and the walk area.... More

Staying in The Marina

Neighborhood Profile
The Marina
It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.
