The staff could not seem to understand that we had already checked out at the end of our stay and almost made us miss our plane. There was no WiFi in the rooms which is shameful for a Ritz. Nice, good-size bedrooms. We had to insist on changing of bedroom, though, since the "beach front" was in fact with a view on the building site nearby (with the noise of a big generator all night long). We have stayed at this hotel 3 times and are eager to return. Their outdoor buffet "theme" dining at Amaseena is one of our most memorable vacation experiences as was a camel ride along the beach. The hotel has the best beach in Dubai. The staff are excellent and look after every need. The Club Rooms are in need of an update, but this will all change when the new wing opens in December. On the beach, the staff were often missing and the outside security staff were helpng the holiday makers by supplying towels etc.... More
