We stayed for 2 nights with our children - I have to say it's one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The service was absolutely fantastic and everything about our stay was top class. We booked a club room which is well worth it as you get access to the club lounge. Special mentions for service to Sophia in... More

Out of all the High tea experiences we had in Dubai this one was our favourite, my wife and I arrived at 1pm and didn't leave until 4pm. The High Tea offers assorted mini sandwiches and cakes including delicious macaroons. Upon arrival we were asked about any specific dietary requirements and the Ritz accommodated each requirement perfectly. The ambiance is... More

We were there ome week, from the beginning there is a good service at the lobby- someone take the kids to draw till we make the checkin, the lobby is big and the personal very friendly and qualified. We saw a lot of personal from the very HI qualified hotel school of Lausanne-swiss. The italian restaurant was good, the lounge... More

Went to the Ritz Carlton, JBR for a brunch with my wife. We paid AED590, the soundings, atmosphere and staff were all great. The live band were good and added to the atmosphere. There was a good selection of food Unfortunately, some of the food was cold from the hot plate. The selection of beers was poor, (two) and only... More

We went to revisit the place we were engaged many years ago. The spot it actually happened has now given way to an extension but the hotel still had all you would expect. We went posh and took one of the executive club rooms, a kind of upmarket all inclusive without the need for a day-glo pink chav band. If... More

I find it incredibly hard to fault this gorgeous hotel. Everything from the staff to the food to the service and room decor was just perfect. From reading the other reviews on here we were expecting great things and we weren't disappointed. Me and my parents stayed in a deluxe room on the ground floor with a cute patio and... More

We stayed at this Hotel for 4 days in August at club room level. It is a nice Hotel and has been well maintained but for us, it did not have the so called 'wow' factor. The room we stayed in had a fantastic bathroom and the bedroom area was clean but quite small in size and not really that... More

The staff at the Ritz Dubai are amazing. My family and I stopped in Dubai on our way to Ethiopia in late July 2015. After losing a bag in Italy I arrived at the ritz, frustrated and without most of my belongings. Full-time staff and interns alike, it seemed like they we're just as concerned about finding my luggage as... More

The design was extraordinary tasteful and the clearness was perfect. The hospitality and kindness of the employees was exceptional. The always very kind and professional, never to be forgotten Zsuzsanna Cseh program organizer and Edina Krisztina Torkos assistant loss prevention manager helped us several time. If you travel by car in Dubai, please don’t forget GPS and visit the Museum... More

Staying in The Marina

Neighborhood Profile
The Marina
It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.
